Five opening round matches have been announced for the upcoming Jersey J-Cup presented by Jersey Championship Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling.
Yesterday, four opening round matches were announced, adding to the previously announced dream match of “Speedball” Mike Bailey taking on Japanese wrestling legend The Great Sasuke.
Opening Round Matches:
- Masha Slamovich vs Man Like Dereiss
- Jonathan Gresham vs Alec Price
- Joey Janela vs Kerry Morton
- Nick Wayne vs Marcus Mathers
- Mike Bailey vs Great Sasuke
Other J-Cup entrants:
- JCW World Champion Jordan Oliver
- Billie Starkz
- Rina Yamashita
- Jack Cartwheel
- Myron Reed
- Cole Radrick
- Matt Makowski
- Charles Mason
- Tony Deppen
- Griffin McCoy
It was also announced that the JCW World Championship, currently held by last year’s J-Cup winner Jordan Oliver, will be on the line the entire tournament. Oliver’s opening round match has yet to be revealed.
The 2024 Jersey J-Cup will be held on Friday February 9th and Saturday February 10th at the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey. Both nights are scheduled to stream live on ThrillerTV+.
