Chaotic Wrestling New England Championship match: Che Long (c) vs. Landon Hale

Winner: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling New England Champion, Che Long

Che Long makes his way down to the ring first, much to the boos of the Chaotic faithful. Landon Hale makes his way down to the ring next, and it’s apparent who’s the fan favorite in this match. This is a very enticing match for many Chaotic fans, myself certainly included. Long and Hale are two of the brightest young stars that are currently in Chaotic and their futures are very bright. The match kicks off with Che Long immediately targeting the taped-up rib cage of Hale.

Hale’s ribs are badly bruised and battered because of a war he had last month with Tyree Taylor. So, it’s excellent that it was made a factor from the get-go of this match. However, Long gets a little bit too cocky and starts taunting the fans, failing to realize that Hale unwrapped his ribs and is indeed 100% again. Hale hit a big springboard moonsault onto Long and got the fans fired up. Long is able to quickly get back on his game, hanging up Hale’s leg over the top rope.

Long targets the leg of Hale to maintain momentum in this matchup. Hale tries to fight back, but Long hits a kick to the leg of Hale and lands a big DDT, spiking Hale’s head to the mat. However, Hale has enough energy and hits a massive knee trigger to the chest of Long and both men are down on the mat. Hale hit a massive slingshot cutter on Long and quickly was able to get back into this match. Hale attempts the SPO driver, but Hale’s leg gives out, which leads to Long hitting his finishing move on Hale for just a two-count.

Long unhooks the turnbuckle in the corner, however the referee stops him. This leads to Hale landing a big high kick on Long sending him into the opposite turnbuckle. Long unhooks this one and the referee doesn’t see it. Hale attempts a knee trigger again but his bad knee meets the steel of the exposed buckle. This allows Long to lock in the calf crusher which forces Hale to tap out. This was an excellent opening contest, and Long and Hale’s story is not finished yet.

After the match, Long grabs a mic and gets booed out of the building. Long says there’s nobody left in the locker room to step up to the champion. Shannon LeVangie makes her way down to the ring and says if he’s a varsity athlete, he should love some competition. She then offers a little extra competition and asks him to defend that title twice tonight. She says she’s more than worthy despite Long’s opinion. Long quickly says no and reminds LeVangie he’s defeated her twice. He then tells her to earn it, and she hasn’t done that yet.

LeVangie tells Long that he’s gotten lucky twice. She says she’ll earn her shot at that title because the fact of the matter is she won’t be going away until she gets Long and the New England Championship. This brings out Ariel, and she quickly gets in the face of LeVangie. Ariel tells Long she’ll take care of business tonight and we get a singles match between Ariel and Shannon LeVangie.

Shannon LeVangie vs. Ariel

Winner: Shannon LeVangie

Before the match starts, Long drops LeVangie by pulling her hair and forcing her to fall onto the mat. Ariel quickly capitalizes on this moment and attacks LeVangie in the corner. Long makes his way back out to commentary and calls the match while LeVangie remains on the defense. Despite LeVangie’s best efforts, Ariel hits a snap suplex on her to maintain control over the match.

LeVangie lands a big clothesline, a big boot, and an even bigger dropkick on Ariel and fires up the crowd to get back into this match. LeVangie busts out a new move and lands a page-turner on Ariel for just a two-count. She then attempts a crossbody from the top rope, but Ariel is able to roll her through and take the fight right back to LeVangie.

Ariel lands a beautiful northern lights suplex on LeVangie for just a two-count. Ariel looks for a superplex from the top rope, but LeVangie counters and drops Ariel facefirst onto the mat. She then hits the twisted trouble from the top rope for the three-count.

This was a very good back-and-forth match. It looks like we will be getting Shannon LeVangie and Che Long sooner than later, and that match is about to set the Chaotic Wrestling world on fire. Ariel looked amazing as well and she’s destined for big things herself.

Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championship match: God’s Greatest Creations vs. The Hustle and The Muscle

Winners: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team champions, God’s Greatest Creations

The Hustle and The Muscle, Xavier Walker and Karam make their debut in this match for Chaotic Wrestling. God’s Greatest Creations, Deacon Kayos, and Brother Steven make their way out next, as always they are accompanied by Jariel Rivera. This match looked great on paper, and definitely delivered.

Walker starts the match for his team, but Brother Steven jumps him from behind to try and get the early momentum for his team. However, this doesn’t work and Walker takes out both members of GGC. Karam tags in as Brother Steven rolls to the outside to regroup with Rivera and Deacon Kayos. Brother Steven tries to charge at Karam but gets outpowered.

The Hustle and The Muscle look amazing in the early going of this match. They do a fantastic job at keeping Steven away from his fresh tag team partner. However, Steven is eventually able to tag out, and things don’t fare much better for Deacon Kayos. Finally, God’s Greatest Creations are able to get the upper hand thanks to Jariel Rivera getting in the way of Karam.

God’s Greatest Creations uses their tag team expertise to continue to beat down Karam, even using some of their dirty ways. Finally, Karam is able to reach Xavier Walker for the hot tag. Walker takes out both members of the GGC and calls for a chokeslam on Steven. This leads to Kayos making the save, but Walker continues to take them both down. He hits a chokeslam on Kayos and calls for a powerbomb on Walker, but Steven uses a weapon and knocks out Walker for the three count.

This was an excellent tag team match. The Hustle and The Muscle looked amazing in their Chaotic Wrestling debut, and on the opposite side, God’s Greatest Creation got the job done and continued to look impressive. The GGC will always find a way to win and it’s impressive what they come up with.

Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Championship match: Paris Van Dale (c) vs. Gabby Forza

Winner: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Champion, Paris Van Dale

This is a match that many fans were really looking forward to, myself included. The run Paris Van Dale has been on as Pan Optic Champion has been nothing short of impressive. Gabby Forza, has been one of the best up-and-coming talents around today, and some could call this arguably her toughest test yet. The fans were firmly behind Forza in this match, while simultaneously booing Van Dale out of the building.

The match starts with Forza quickly getting the better of Van Dale. Forza uses her strength and hits a shoulder block, followed by four slams in a row on Van Dale for just a one-count. Forza then proceeds to squad Van Dale, but Van Dale is able to counter with a rake to the back and uses the top rope for a bulldog to change the course of the match. Van Dale stays on the offense and continues to take the fight to the young upstart.

Van Dale uses the hair of Forza to slow down the professional football player and remain in control. However, Forza lands two lariats back-to-back on Van Dale and changes momentum. She hits a massive powerslam on Van Dale and pins her for just a two-count. Forza attempts a big splash but misses. However, she is able to launch herself through the middle rope and spear Van Dale but gets a two-count.

Forza calls for a jackhammer, but Van Dale is able to counter. Van Dale tries to lock in her sleeper hold but Forza counters this time. Van Dale lands a code red on Forza for just a two-count. This leads to Van Dale going outside the ring to get her belt and wants to use it on Forza. However, the referee takes it from her but gets inadvertently speared by Gnomeberg.

Both women killed it in this match. Paris Van Dale has reached the 385-day mark for her reign and continues on her phenomenal run. On the flip side, Gabby Forza continues to make a name for herself all over the independent wrestling scene and looks very impressive doing so. Something tells me we’ll see them both do battle again very, very soon.

UNIT Supremacy match: The Broken Unit (Chase Del Monte, Danny Miles, and Trigga The OG) vs. The Unit (JT Dunn, Dirty Dango, and Ace Romero)

Winners: The Unit (JT Dunn, Dirty Dango, and Ace Romero)

For the better part of the past couple of years, Chaotic Wrestling has been Unit territory. This is the culmination of all of it. The winner of this match gets to rightfully call themselves The Unit, while the losers must disband. This match felt like an amazing conclusion to one of my personal favorite stories on the independent wrestling scene today.

The Broken Unit make their way down to the ring first, to the boos of the Chaotic faithful. Ace Romero makes his way down to the ring first, and the fans always love the big man. JT Dunn makes his way down to the ring next, followed by Dirty Dango. The Unit are the massive fan favorites to win this match, and the faithful around the ring let them hear that.

The match kicks off with Del Monte throwing a fit that the fans are chanting “Water Boy” at him. When the action finally gets underway JT Dunn and Chase Del Monte start the match for their respective teams. Del Monte quickly tags in Trigga The OG, and wants none of Dunn to start the match. The standoff between OG and Dunn is very special, and the two start with a feeling-out process of sorts.

Danny Miles calls to be tagged in and faces off with Dunn. Dunn tags in Romero and the big man comes into the ring to square off with the Dream Crusher. Miles goes for four shoulder blocks, but it does little to no damage. Miles lands a big right hand on Romero and uses his speed to stay away from the big man. With everyone fighting on the outside, Dango lands a big high-risk move that takes out everyone.

All hell proceeds to break loose, as everyone rights at ringside. A ring is never enough to contain these two teams, and this is very apparent in this match. Both teams brawl in the fans, and even make their way over to the bar area. The big spot here is when Dango leaps off the bar and hits a massive high-flying twister move taking out everyone. This was a really cool spot.

Del Monte finally brings Dango back over the barricade and things spill back over into the ring. Dango crashes and burns on the mat and The Broken Unit does what they do best, and separates Dango from his team. The Broken Unit targets the leg of Dango and keeps him subdued on their side of the ring. Every time Dango gets close to his corner, The Broken Unit brings him back to their side and continues their punishment.

Del Monte brings in a steel chair and sits Dango on the chair in the middle of the ring. Music plays and Del Monte dances in front of Dango to Fandango’s old theme. Dango lifts Del Monte and sends him groin-first onto the chair. Romero and OG make the tags for their respective teams and Romero takes out everyone. Dunn hits a double cross-body on both OG and Miles. He then proceeds to hit a big death by elbow on Del Monte who falls out of the ring.

Dunn continues to beat up on the two men who turned their back on Dunn and blindsided him, OG and Miles. OG and Miles call for a big suplex from the top rope, but Dunn is able to fight them off and uses OG to hit a stomp through Miles. Dunn calls for another death by elbow, but it gets broken up by a big boot from OG. Miles and OG hit their finishing move on Dunn, but Dango makes the save and breaks up the pinfall.

Del Monte tags himself in, much to the displeasure of OG and Miles. He gets in the face of OG and gives him orders to finish things. Things implode between the two men and OG leaves. Romero dumps Miles to the outside, and The Unit corners Del Monte. Romero hits a big splash on Del Monte, and it’s followed by a cutter by Dunn and a big leg drop by Dango. Dango pins Del Monte to pick up the win and finally disband The Broken Unit.

This match was probably one of my favorites of the night. It was a very fun one, and the right team won. The sight of Trigga The OG walking away and making the right choice is one we will not soon forget. The Broken Unit must disband, and Chaotic Wrestling remains UNIT Territory. This was just a fantastic story told by Chaotic from start to end.

Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s match: Richard Holliday vs. Ricky Smokes vs. Tyree Taylor vs. MORTAR

Winner: MORTAR

Richard Holliday kicks off the second half of the show. Holliday says that because Aaron Rourke was victorious in Pandemonium, we are left without a rightful number-one contender. He then declares himself as the next number-one contender for the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. He is interrupted by Ricky Smokes who is irate. Smokes says that he is a pillar of Chaotic Wrestling, and says he is the rightful number one contender.

This leads to Tyree Taylor making his way down to the ring. Before Taylor even gets a chance to speak, the lights go out and he is interrupted by MORTAR. MORTAR says he is the very best this company has to offer, and calls for a fatal four-way match where the winner becomes the rightful number-one contender, and it becomes official.

Just as the match is about to kick off, Tony Navarro makes his way down to the ring and asks why he wasn’t invited. The four men take turns beating up on the “big cheese” and it culminates with MORTAR hitting a big spinning lariat on Navarro and sending him packing. The match kicks off and all hell breaks loose. Tyree Taylor gains the upper hand in the early going, but Smokes lands a double stop off of MORTAR’s back on Taylor to get rid of him for the moment.

Holliday and Smokes go at it in the middle of the ring. Holliday lands a spinebuster on Smokes and pins him, but Taylor breaks it up. Taylor lands an impressive shining wizard on Holliday for just a two-count. MORTAR attempts a big move, but Taylor hits him with a cutter hanging him up over the top rope.

MORTAR hits a big hurricanrana from the top rope on Taylor, and Smokes and MORTAR work together to ground the big man. This doesn’t last long though, as the two begin firing rights and lefts against each other. Holliday lands a big move on Smoke, but takes down Holliday with a big springboard crossbody, pinning him to win the match.

Holliday calls for a microphone and says it’s getting to a point where he’s starting to feel like he doesn’t have it anymore. He says he loves this and loves doing what we do, but he doesn’t think he’s able to put things together and says maybe he has to go away for a little bit. He tells the fans that the next time we see him he’ll be a different version of himself and be a better version of himself. Holliday tells MORTAR he has all the potential in the world, but he has to spread his wings and go and do it.

He says that MORTAR is one of the best he’s ever been in the ring with. Holliday tells MORTAR to go win the belt later this month. However, Holliday then says he’s not going to make it to Watertown and beats the hell out of him. Holliday turns heel and destroys MORTAR all around the ring. He hits his finishing move on MORTAR and leaves the ring.

Holliday makes his way back down to the ring with a chair and a door. Security tries to stop him to no avail. He continues to beat down MORTAR and lands a powerbomb threw the door that was positioned in the corner. Holliday sits down in the middle of the ring while the referees tend to MORTAR. However, Holliday snaps and throws a referee before leaving the ring, but quickly comes back down and smashes a door over the head of MORTAR. Holliday leaves after telling a bloodied and beaten MORTAR “The venom is back in the snake.”

From the match to the heel turn, this was just downright awesome. The match had all of the best that Chaotic truly has to offer. It’s amazing to see Holliday back doing what he does best. Holliday had a nice little good guy run, but the guy is a natural-born heel, and it’s always a beauty seeing him do what he does better than anyone.

BMT (w/ Ariel) vs. Seabass Finn

Winner: BMT

BMT makes his way down to the ring first, accompanied by the “Queen of New England,” Ariel. The fans boo BMT and Ariel, but Seabass Finn gets a huge pop of his own, as he makes his way down to the ring next. Ariel makes her presence felt from the beginning as she tries to distract Finn, to no avail. Finn says BMT to the outside and proceeds to chase him.

However, Ariel pulls Finn’s leg and causes a successful distraction and BMT capitalizes in a big way. Ariel and BMT use the numbers game against Finn, and it works for a little while. BMT lands a huge cutter on Finn for just a two-count. Ariel holds Finn, but Sean Vegan Keegan makes his way out and drags Ariel to the back to even the odds.

Finn lands a big strike in the corner and follows it up with a big roll through into an even bigger kick. Finn lands a fisherman’s driver on BMT for just a two-count. Seabass calls for a big move, but BMT is able to block it and rolls up Finn with a handful of tights for the three-count. This was another fun, but short, match. It was fun seeing Sean Vegan Keegan again, evening up the odds for his partner.

Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Match: Aaron Rourke (c) vs. Jake Something

Winner: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Aaron Rourke

This match marked the main event of the evening. Jake Something makes his way down to the ring first and the fans cheer him. Something is absolutely one of the hottest independent wrestlers around today, and it’s always a blast seeing him in the Northeast. Rourke makes his way down to the ring next and has the Chaotic faithful fully behind him.

The match kicks off with a collar-elbow tie-up. Something throws Rourke through the middle rope, showing early on that has strength will be a game-changer in this match. Rourke makes his way back into the ring and the two once again engage in a collar-elb0w tie-up. Rourke locks in his octopus lock early on, but Something quickly reaches the ropes. However, Rourke keeps momentum in his favor with his speed and strikes.

However, Something uses his power to change the momentum of the match in his favor. Something’s strength and power are game changers in this match and it helps him to maintain control over the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight champion. Rourke fights back, to not much avail as Something lands a massive forearm on him to keep him in control.

Something attempts a lazy pin on Rourke with his boot but just gets a two-count. Rourke attempts a tope suicida, but Something catches him and chokeslams him onto the ring apron. After more of Something remaining in control of the match, Rourke finally fights back and gets back into the match with kicks of his own. Rourke lands a big backfist onto Something and both men hit the ground.

Something charges at Rourke, but Rourke sends Something over the ring and lands two suicide dives. Rourke sends something into the steel ring post and gives himself a chance to regroup. Rourke attempts to lift Something, but Something just throws Rourke down. However, Rourke lands a big elbow to the back of the head of Something and follows it up with a big German suplex for just a two-count. The dimepiece then lands a dimesault on Something and gets another two-count.

At this point, both of these men are spent. Rourke kicks himself up and fires up with the fans firmly behind him. Rourke lands the overdrive on Something, but Something rolls outside before Rourke can pin him. After more excellent back-and-forth, Something calls for the end, but Rourke locks in the octopus stretch and forces Something to tap out.

This was an excellent main event. Aaron Rourke continues to show why he’s the top champion, and Jake Something is a stud in every sense of the word. This was an excellent event from top-to-bottom and showcased why Chaotic Wrestling could be one of the best promotions in the northeast.

By Scott Mitchell

Hello, my name is Scott Mitchell and I have been a professional wrestling fan since 2005. Like everyone the first promotion I really fell in love with is the WWE. However, as I got older, I got largely into the greatness known as independent wrestling. Independent wrestling has turned into one of my biggest passions. Please enjoy!
