880 Wrestling out of Pittsburgh will be traveling across the state to Philadelphia to have one of their biggest shows with some amazing first-time matches. This show will take place on Thursday, April 4 at 4pm at the Ukie Club in Philadelphia.

Edith Surreal vs. Reese Hayes

This is a battle between the top champions at Enjoy and 880, which are two of the best independent wrestling promotions in the western PA area. Both wrestlers will have a kind of home field advantage. The event is taking place in Edith’s home town, but it is an 880 show, which is Reese’s home promotion. This could be one of the top matches of the week, as Edith and “Amateur Wrestler” Reese Hays are both incredible on the mat, and are also incredibly quick.

MV Young vs. Derek Dillenger

While Edith vs Reese will be mat artistry, MV against Derek will be a fight. Both of these wrestlers love to trade shots with their opponents and will have a smile on their face after getting hit. MV is the owner of 880 and one of the trainers at their school and Derek is the head trainer at the AIW school in Cleveland. The Cleveland vs Pittsburgh rivalry has made it from sports to the 880 arena, as Derek and many of his students have come down from Cleveland to try to ruin the fun at 880. Now, on the other side of PA, MV will try to defend the name of 880 against the dastardly director.

Colin Delaney vs. Gianni Emricko

Gianni was the longest reigning 880 champion in the history of the company and has been very hard to beat most of his young career. However, I do not think Gianni has ever been in the ring with someone like Colin Delaney. Colin has been wrestling for 20 years and has been in pretty much every major company, including WWE, ROH, AEW, and recently made his GCW debut. Gianni will try to use underhanded tactics, like he did to keep his championship for so long. Especially if his friend Frank “He used to be a real piece of shit” Deville is around, but Colin has seen every trick in the book, so he will be ready for whatever Gianni has in mind.

Brooke Valentine vs. Paris Sahara

This is a battle of two absolute queens. The “Queen Bee” Brooke Valentine and the queen of The matriarchy Paris Sahara. Paris has been on an absolute tear recently in 880 since joining up with “The Princess of 880” Amanda and Zeke Mercer. She also had an incredible match at Enjoy with Sonny Kiss that I very much recommend checking out once it’s released.

This will be Brooke’s first singles match back after being out an extended period of time with an injury. Last year, before the injury Brooke was at the peak of her career and she looks to pick right back up where she left off by defeating Paris. Brooke has been in the ring with such stars as WWE’s Shotzi Blackheart, ROH’s Billie Starkz and AEW’s Willow Nightingale. She even teamed up with Willow to challenge for the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship on Mania Week 2021. Brooke will look to use this experience to try to slow down the very quick and athletic Paris Sahara.

Brohemoth vs. Zeke Mercer in a Philly Street Fight

This is a match that has been quite a few weeks in the making. Whenever Zeke and Paris joined forces with Amanda to form The Matriarchy, they decided to make their impact by attacking Brohemoth after his match and cutting off some of his hair. This has infuriated Bro and he has been after Zeke ever since. Zeke, along with Reese, is one of the best technical wrestlers in 880, but has recently veered away from that style and has decided to win any way possible, even if that means breaking a few rules. However, there will be no rules in this match and no way to escape the power and anger of Brohemoth.

Marco Narcisso vs. Billy Dixon

It was recently announced that this match will be for Billie Dixon’s Uncanny Attractions Championship. There will not only be a lot of chaos in the ring with this match, but it looks like there may be some outside of the ring too.  Marco will be joined by Den of Desire members, Honey Darling and Blizzy Blake, while Billy will be joined by Eddie McQueen. Billy has been in his villain era as of late, and has been a little more violent than we are used to seeing from him, but Marco is not a stranger to the violence. Marco has some of the most unique offense in 880 and Billy will have to find a way to counteract that offense or he will be walking out of Philly without his Unchampionship.

There will be tag team action, as Forth Line (Brandon St. James and KC Warr) defend the 880 Tag Team Championships against the Ugly Sucklings (White Mike and Rob Killjoy) and the Wilde Flowers (The Unwilting Tatiana and Nix Wilde) take on The CREEPS (Irving West and a mystery CREEP, as Andey Ripley is out with an injury). The Outfielders will also be in action.

If you can’t make it there live, be sure to watch all the action live on the indywrestling.us Twitch or YouTube channels and hear the amazing commentary from Toddy Tondera.

I have watched wrestling all of my life, from WWF and NWA to ECW and then indie shows. I have been steadily going to independent wrestling shows since 2002.
