2024 was a great year for the Prestige Wrestling promotion. Lots of big names on the independent scene made their way through Prestige, and there were plenty of great matches to go along with that. Here is my list of the top 10 matches from Prestige in 2024.

- Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alan Angels vs Nick Wayne, Roseland 7 (1/5/24) – ***¾
A fatal 4-way match for the Prestige World Championship that main evented Roseland 7. Nick Wayne was a surprise entrant, filling in for the originally scheduled Kevin Blackwood. A non-stop action main event that sees Alex Shelley retain with a surprise pin on Alan Angels.

- Alan Angels vs. Mustafa Ali, Roseland 9 (9/29/24) – ***¾
Another main event for the Prestige World Championship, with Angels defending. An exceptionally dramatic final stretch with Ali trying to fight off The Noise resulting in a DQ finish.

- Jordan Cruz vs. Jaiden, Last Man Standing, Alive II (3/24/24) – ***¾
A hard-hitting culmination to a months long feud between the two with lots of weapons and violence. Jaiden ultimately would prevail and move on to face Lio Rush at Roseland 8.

- Midnight Heat vs. The Workhorsemen, Roseland 7 (1/5/24) – ***¾
Just a great technical tag team wrestling match from two of the best on the scene right now, with territory stalwarts The Midnight Heat getting the win.

- Galeno del Mal vs. Jeff Cobb, Alive or Just Breathing (5/16/24) – ***¾
A hidden gem of a big man match in the middle of this Prestige card from May. Plenty of big man spots, showing the strength and agility of both men. Jeff Cobb would walk away the winner.

- Sinner & Saint vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew, A Moment of Violence (2/25/24) – ***¾
The first tag title defense for S&S after winning the belts from C4. Lots of near falls had me buying in to a potential title change, but in the end S&S would retain.

- Kevin Blackwood vs. Trevor Lee, Roseland 9 (9/29/24) – ****
Back to Roseland 9 we go, as Trevor Lee is back on the indies and challenging for the West Coast Pro Championship here. Once again a match that was so good I was believing Lee might win the title, but Blackwood would keep the championship in the end.

- Travis Williams vs. Jaiden, Cascadia Cup Finals (8/24/24) – ****
The final match of the 16 person, two night tournament. Third match of the night for both men, going over half an hour. Williams would win the match, and the Cup.

- Sinner & Saint vs. C4, 2 out of 3 Falls, Alive II (3/24/24) – ****
The main event of this show, for the World Tag Team Titles. This match did not disappoint in my anticipation of it with the champs winning two falls to one and keeping the titles.

- Mike Bailey vs. Mustafa Ali, A Moment of Violence (2/25/24) – ****¼
Put two of the best wrestlers on the independents in the main event, let them go and you get the match of the year in Prestige Wrestling. There was a lot of hype for this match and it met all expectations, with high-flying moves and close falls. Ali would get the win in his Prestige debut.
And that’s the list! Make sure to check out all of these matches on IWTV or Prestige’s YouTube Channel. As always, feedback and opinions are welcome, and I look forward to more great stuff from Prestige in 2025!
