Fight Life is launching a brand-new tradition this May.
Fight Life has announced the start of an annual trios tournament, The Trinity Wars Trios Tournament. This year’s edition of the tournament will span across two nights and two different states.
The tournament will kick off on Thursday, May 1st, in Hamden, Connecticut. It will continue on Friday, May 2nd, in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
Frankie of Fight Life spoke about the inspiration behind this big tournament and plans for the future.
This is something I’ve wanted to do for years, long before Fight Life even existed. My first exposure to top-tier independent wrestling was in 2009 when I stumbled upon Chikara’s King of Trios tournament. I had never seen anything like it. Watching teams like The Osirian Portal and The Colony had me on the edge of my seat, and from that moment on, I became a die-hard independent wrestling fan.
That love for trios wrestling stuck with me, and now, I finally get to bring that same energy to Fight Life but with our own twist and fresh take on the concept.
While Trinity Wars is inspired by KOT, Our goal is to create a distinct identity, feel, and legacy that reflects what Fight Life is all about: Showcasing the next generation of Superstars, innovation, intensity, and making every moment feel big.
The tournament will be an annual spring/early summer event, spanning multiple nights and different regions. This year starts with eight teams over two nights, but the long-term vision is to expand into a multi-state tour, eventually growing into a three or four-night spectacle featuring 16+ teams.
Two night ticket packages are on sale now. Single night tickets go on sale this Friday at 3:30 PM. Tickets are available at FightLifeWrestling.com.
