Femmes Fatales Will Hold Their Final Event This Weekend

Femmes Fatales’ final show ever will take place on Saturday, March, 29. “Le Dernier Show” will emanate from Quebec City and will also stream live on IWTV.

Femmes Fatales is going out the only way that they know how, that is with a show loaded with some of the best female talent from Canada and beyond.

The only three time Femmes Fatales champion and living legend, Mercedes Martinez will take on the woman who calls herself the Queen of Femmes Fatales, Loue O’Farrell. Stacy Thibault and former champion, Jessika Black wrestled each other when they debuted in FF in 2015 and will have their final match in FF against each other. Three of the top wrestlers in Canada and the future of women’s wrestling will face off when Dani Leo takes on Rose and Zoe Sager. Dreya Mitchell will face Angie Skye. The main event will pit The Wicked Ones, who have been causing trouble all over FF for the past year, against four of the best that FF has to offer in Vanessa Kraven, Mary Lee Rose, Kristara, and the Femmes Fatales Champion, Azaelle.

Femmes Fatales has been a staple in women’s wrestling and Canadian wrestling since it’s inception in 2009. On their first show, the Shimmer championship was defended as MsChif defeated Misty Haven. FF then crowned their own champion after a tournament that took place on the third and fourth shows. This tournament included some of the biggest stars in women’s wrestling at the time, including Sara Del Rey, Cheerleader Melissa, Nicole Matthews, Sweet Cherrie and more. Lufisto became the inaugural champion by defeating Portia Perez in the finals.

Some of the other champions throughout the years have been Kalamity, Courtney Rush, Jessica Black, Vanessa Kraven, Alexia Nicole, Nicole Matthews and Mercades Martinez. Other notable names that have wrestled in Femmes Fatales are Haley Dylan, Trish Adora, Vert Vixen, Nikita, Liiza Hall, Allie Katch, Jody Threat, KC Spinelli, Miley, Taylor Rising, Cherry Bomb, Addy Star, Cat Power, Daffney, Amazing Kong, Hamada, Madison Eagles, Jazz, Athena, and so many more.

Not only was the Femmes Fatales championship defended there, but the Shimmer championship and tag team championships were defended on FF shows. The WSU title was also defended by Lufisto against Mia Yim, and Courtney Rush defended the Bellatrix World title against Allison Danger.

I could go on and on about all of the great wrestlers that have been at Femmes Fatales and the amazing matches that they have had. They have had such a great influence on how women’s wrestling has grown and evolved in the past 15 years. I am sad to see it go, but lets celebrate the great matches that they have had and the last show that they will give us.
