Atticus Cogar Steps Away From Deathmatch Wrestling

After 10 years, Atticus Cogar is stepping away from deathmatch wrestling.

After his loss to Bobby Beverly at ICW No Holds Barred 72, Atticus Cogar announced that after 10 years, he is leaving ICW and the deathmatch wrestling world.

Atticus Cogar held the ICW American Deathmatch Championship for nearly one year before losing it tonight to former 44OH! stablemate “The Bev” Bobby Beverly. In his reign he successfully defended the title against Matt Tremont, Homicide, Tank, and his brother Otis Cogar, among others. He wrestled in ICW NHB for nearly 5 years.

Cogar was scheduled to take on John Wayne Murdoch at tomorrow’s ICW NHB 73 in Chicago. No changes have been announced as of yet.

ICW NHB Volume 72 was streamed live from Detroit, Michigan. The replay of the event will be up in the near future on IWTV. ICW NHB Volume 73 will stream live at 9pm ET.
