At last night’s Game Changer Wrestling ‘Do Or Die’ event, Otis Cogar outlasted twenty other competitors to win the Do Or Die Rumble and earn a shot at the GCW World Championship.

After his victory, the current GCW World Champion, his brother Atticus Cogar entered the ring. Otis Cogar grabbed a microphone and stated that Atticus worked too hard to get that title and he won’t be challenging for it. Instead, Otis called out GCW Ultraviolent Champion Matt Tremont. Otis challenged the champion to a match for the title at GCW’s return to Dallas on January 17th. Tremont accepted the challenge.

Tremont won the GCW Ultraviolent Championship on January 19, 2025 at GCW’s The People vs GCW. The Dallas event falls two days before Tremont hits the one year mark in his title reign.

Tremont holds two victories over Otis in GCW competition.
