KJ Orso and Sam Stackhouse Attack Marko Stunt During Retirement Speech

On Saturday night, Game Changer Wrestling returned to Atlantic City, NJ, for it’s event, “Ashes To Ashes.” One of the biggest segments heading into this event saw Marko Stunt say his goodbye to professional wrestling at one of the biggest places that it all started for him, GCW. However, in typical professional wrestling fashion, this turned into so much more than a retirement speech.

During his speech, Marko Stunt said that he was injured and was going to leave his boots in the ring. He was interrupted by KJ Orso. Orso actually said a lot of nice words about Stunt and paid him his respect before bowing out and leaving the ring. When Stunt left his boots in the ring. He knelt down to kiss the mat. While doing that, Orso ran right back in the ring and hit his finisher on Stunt, showing all the kind words he had said about Stunt to all be a ruse. The bigger story comes when Sam Stackhouse seemingly makes the save.

Stackhouse chases Orso away, seemingly protecting Stunt. However, Stackhouse turns on Stunt and leaves him laying. Stackhouse leaves with Orso indicating a new heel tag team at Game Changer Wrestling.

It remains to be seen where things go from here. Is this truly it for Marko Stunt? Or with GCW’s The Collective right around the corner, could he find help and get some payback? Stay tuned to PWPonderings to find out.

  1. Sam Stackhouse helping KJ Orso with anything makes absolutely no sense, given what happened between them in the past. Storyline-wise I mean.
