
The first ever Pro Wrestling Unplugged Women’s Champion has been crowned.
At Hybrid Wrestling x PWU’s joint event “Midnight Xpress”, Mercedes Martinez became the inaugural PWU Women’s Champion by defeating Lacey Lane and Priscilla Kelly in a 3 Way Match that had Kiera Hogan as the special guest referee.
This championship adds to the the many championships Martinez has held throughout her 25 year career, which includes the ROH Women’s Championship. Martinez also currently holds the Test of Strength Wrestling Women’s Championship.
Earlier this year, Martinez announced that 2026 will be her final year as a full-time professional wrestler. Since then she’s been tare across the globe for promotions such as Beyond Wrestling and PROGRESS.
