Joey Janela: If I Never Make It Back To Mainstream So Be It

Friday night at Joey Janela’s Spring Break X in Las Vegas, Joey Janela took on 14 year old Brodie Lee Jr in the main event in Brodie Jr’s first singles match of his short career. The two battled it out for nearly 30 minutes, with Brodie Jr coming out on top.

Following the match, Janela went to Twitter to speak on the tremendous match-up.

“I’ve said it, I’ve been sober for almost 2 years putting on quality every weekend! If I never make it back to mainstream so be it, nights like tonight is what I do this for!”

Janela has had a wild list of opponents throughout his near 20 year career. In his Spring Break matches alone he’s faced Marty Jannetty, The Great Sasuke, Marko Stunt, Jungle Boy, Ricky Morton, Chris Dickinson, X-Pac, Kota Ibushi, Blake Christian, Sabu and Brodie Lee Jr.

Janela was signed to All Elite Wrestling from 2019–2022.
