Otis Cogar Gives Health Update Following Cage Match Against Matt Tremont

On April 18th, during the biggest week in professional wrestling, WrestleMania week, Otis Cogar put his GCW Ultraviolent Championship on the line against Matt Tremont in a Hardcore Kingdom Steel Cage Match. The two went to war inside the cage, but unfortunately for Cogar, Tremont left with the Ultraviolent Championship.

In more unfortunate news, Cogar gave a health update following the brutal match-up, stating that he’s been in the hospital multiple days following the match, due to an injury sustained that evening.

“Unfortunately, I feel the exact same today as I do in this picture. I got a very bad cut early on in this match with Matt Tremont and it put me in the hospital after returning home from Las Vegas. I’m going on multiple days in the hospital due to this injury. I’m in no way asking for handouts of any kind but if anyone feels inclined, I have merch on my website as well as the gear from this match is on the website as well. Appreciate the support from those that knew I was here and from anyone who snags some merch. Anyone who previously bought merch while in Las Vegas and is waiting for it to ship, I’ll get that to you ASAP when I’m out. Thank you for any support.”

In you’re interested in showing support, you can purchase merch from Cogar at otiscogar.com and vndl48.bigcartel.com. We would like to wish Otis Cogar a speedy recovery.
