Women’s wrestling keeps getting bigger and more popular than ever. This has brought more women’s only shows across the country. These are coming from promotions that only have women’s shows and promotions that want to showcase the women in their promotions and in their area. There are a few that I would like to showcase to show you the variety of women’s wrestling events we have coming up.

MAW – Women’s Invitational Tournament 3
This yearly event will take place on Friday May 22 in Bloomington, MN and will feature some of the top female wrestlers from the Midwest and beyond. This event will feature a tournament where the winner will face Shazza McKenzie for the MAW’s Women’s Championship on a future date. The entrants in this tournament will be Lil Ruiz, Britany Kay, Charity King, Sadie Belle, Airica Demina, Ashlyn Alexander, Josie Valentine and Jordan Ruth. In addition to the tournament, there will be a special match between Lady Frost and Brittnie Brooks.

Girl Fight – Spill The Tea
Girl Fight will present their second show in the Billie Starks era on May 31 in New Albany, Indiana. The first show was amazing from top to bottom, so I would not expect anything less from this show, especially with the talent that they have already announced. The women that have been invited to the tea party so far are: 2-Time Knockouts tag team champion, Killer Kelly, ROH star and member of The Premier Athletes, Stori Denali, one of the only wrestlers that can look Stori in the eyes, Regan Lydale, one of the top names in independent wrestling, Gabby Forza, one of the top women to come out of the south, Leah Night. As well as the queen of the Midwest indies, Sierra, the Stunner Emily Jaye, the knockout queen Alexis Littlefoot, one of the most energetic and exciting powerhouses in wrestling, Lili Ruiz, and of course the Girl Fight Champion herself, Billie Starkz. Billie recently defended her Girl Fight championship in a great match against Ravenna Vein at the last HCW show, so I can’t wait to see who she will face on this show.

Divine Pro Wrestling – The Gaythering
Divine Pro Wrestling will be celebrating Pride Month in Ann Arbor, MI the only way that they know how, with some wrestling and some drinking. Divine has very fun, relaxed, queer inclusive events that include some very good female wrestling. This has an incredible lineup, headlined by Divine Pro Champion Stxrm Garcon. Joining Stxrm will be half of the tag champions, Juniper, one of the best female tag teams in this galaxy, MOIST, Mars Cress and Evelyn Sage, OVW stars Karter Cauffman and Rae Larson, one half of the CREEPS Andey Ripley, Lilith Grimm, and much more.

Rising Stars Women’s Wrestling – 1 Year Anniversary Show
Rising Stars of Wrestling, an all-women’s promotion, will celebrate their 1 year anniversary at Deer Park, NY on June 20. At their last show “Mercedez Rulz”, Mercedes Martinez won the championship in very controversial fashion. You have to believe that there is a whole locker room of young, hungry women gunning for Mercedes. The young rising stars that will be there at the 1 Year Anniversary will be Janai Kai, Big AL Alice Crowley, Dolli Darko, Taylor York, Ruthie Jay, Amity Lavey, and more. In addition to the rising stars, TNA stars, Indi Hartwell and Knockouts Champion, Lei Ying Lee will be in action.

ZERO1 USA – Reign
Reign will take place on September 12, and it was scheduled to be at the Berwyn Eagles Club, but since they are no longer running wrestling shows, it was moved to the Oak Lawn Community Pavilion in Oak Lawn. IL. Announced for this event is Rachel Ley, Brittney Blake, Britany Kay, Stxrm Garcon, Jacey Love, and Siena Veil. The first match announced is a grudge match between two powerhouses, as Lilith Khan and Freya the Slaya will meet inside a steel cage.
If any of these events are in your area, I would recommend checking them out. They all should be very entertaining from start to finish. You might also see a new favorite wrestler that you have never seen before.
