We have a new Pro Wrestling EVE International Champion!
The main event of today’s Pro Wrestling EVE 150th event, “History Makers Rule Breakers,” saw Kris Statlander put her EVE International Championship on the line against one of the most dominant champions in EVE history, Miyu Yamashita. The ladder ended the champions 337-day reign, capturing the EVE International Championship in the process.
Kris Statlander first won the EVE International Championship back in July of last year when she defeated Anita Vaughan. Over the course of the next 337-day reign, Statlander defended the title just three times. She kept her reign going strong, defeating Nina Samuels in singles action, Alex Windsor, Anita Vaughan, and Yuu in four-way action, and most recently, a returning Charlie (fka WWE’s Dakota Kai). However, Statlander’s luck ran out as the most dominant champion in EVE history once again has some gold around her waist.
After the match, Kay Lee Ray and Rhio confronted Miyu Yamashita. It was made known that Kay Lee Ray will battle Rhio in a dream match on Friday, July 3rd, at EVE’s big event, “Beers, Brawls, & Burlesque.” The winner gets Miyu Yamashita for the title.
Yamashita held the EVE Championship for over 370 days back in 2022-2023. If history is any indication, we could be in for yet another long and dominant run.
