In PWPonderings’ latest exclusive interview, Killer Kelly (@Kelly_WP) sits down to discuss her time in Wrestling Revolver with Scott Mitchell (@scott44mitchell) including her upcoming match with The Production, Myron Reed, forming KILLERGOAT, her goals at Revolver, and much more. Watch the interview in its entirety down below.
Let’s jump right into it, on Friday night, at Wrestling Revolver, you’ll be teaming up with Myron Reed to face off with The Production’s Derek Dillinger & Katie Arquette. What’s your mindset heading into this one?
“This is a match that Myron and I have been working for, for a long time. We both know them from Revolver. We like what they do. But Myron and I are the superior team. KILLERGOAT is the superior team. I mean, come on. We’re going to kick their butts, obviously. We’re just excited to show Revolver and all the independents, and the major promotions, that Myron and I work very well as a team, and KILLERGOAT is going to be a staple in tag team wrestling and mixed tag team wrestling. We are here to show out.”
How cool has it been to team up with Myron Reed, your real-life fiancé, and get to do a lot of this with him by your side?
“It’s amazing. Like, the whole journey of KILLERGOAT has surpassed everything I thought it would be. Major shoutout to Sami Callihan because he was the one who brought us together as a team. We met at Revolver, by the way. We met at Revolver, we fell in love at Revolver, and I was with RED at the time, and I had no aspirations of breaking up with RED. Then, we started breaking up, and Sami was like, ‘What about Myron? What about both of you? I feel like you guys can be a team.’ We were like, ‘Oh, hmmmm.’ At first, I was like, maybe not, because every single person who’s dating in wrestling they are a team. It’s always the same shit. You start dating in the business, then you take bookings together, and then you become a team out of nowhere. I didn’t want that to happen. Then, Sami presented the idea, and I was convinced. Myron was convinced from the get-go. He really wanted to team with me. I had to have a little bit more convincing just because of that part. Of course, I wanted to team with Myron; he’s the most amazing wrestler ever. He’s f**king fabulous, amazing, everything. Then, we finally teamed up and were together. And the chemistry. Obviously, we have real-life chemistry, but the chemistry, character chemistry, everything. It was a match made in heaven. In wrestling heaven and on a personal level heaven.”
The last time we saw you team up in a Revolver ring, you came up just short against Jake Crist and Navaeh. What was it like to work with them?
“That was so fun. We came up short because it was our freaking wrestling wedding day. I wasn’t expecting to wrestle. But we love them. Like seriously. Jake is an uncle to Myron and now an uncle to me, too. Naveah, she’s great. I love her. I love little Johnny. We love their little family. It was super cool. It was so much fun to wrestle them. So much fun. We have to do it again, definitely. But, it was so, so, so much fun.”
What does it mean to you to be a part of the Revolver locker room?
“I love it. It’s my family. It’s literally family. I freaking love Sami, and Sami loves us. I want to do Revolver as much as I can. As long as Revolver is standing, I’m there. Myron’s there. We love it.”
Do you have any goals in Revolver that you’d like to accomplish, or anyone you’d like to work with there?
“Oh yeah. We do have goals. As of right now, our main focus is to be a tag team, and with that, obviously, it means we want tag team gold. As soon as we get that, we are going to go through all the championships in Revolver. Myron is already the Golden Ticket holder; he was already the Heavyweight Champion. We’re definitely going to be Tag Team Champions, come on now. We just need a couple of reps in Revolver until we are comfortable enough to challenge for the titles. Which we will, and which we will win. Then, we’re going to go one-by-one to get all the other remaining titles. And, we’re going to be the first couple/tag team to ever do it. That’s our goal in Revolver. To stack them up.”
Looking ahead for you, do you have any future goals you want to check off?
“I feel like I’ve done a lot in wrestling. I’ve said this before, if I had to retire today, I’d be so f**king happy. I accomplished a lot. I’m super happy with my career. But, the one thing, just one thing, bring KILLERGOAT to TV. I feel like that might be close… Very close. So, fingers crossed. After that, I can retire.”
Do you have anyone you’d like to share the ring with?
“I would love to wrestle Persephone one-on-one. We had that little four-way. I loved wrestling her. She is amazing. She’s definitely on my bucket list.”
