From the likes of Chaotic Wrestling, Wrestling REVOLVER, Victory Pro Wrestling, and Jersey Championship Wrestling, we witnessed some absolute bangers show on a rather slow independent wrestling weekend. Despite having fewer shows than normal, these three promotions put on many banger matches. Here are five matches from the weekend of June 12th through June 14th, that every fan of professional wrestling should go back and check out.

5. Liviyah & DJ Powers vs. The Bratz from Chaotic Wrestling’s “Summer Of Slams 2”
Kicking things off, on Thursday, June 11th, Chaotic Wrestling returned to Night Shift Brewing in Everett, MA, for its big event, “Summer Of Slams 2.” The event saw a ton of great action and great moments, including a fun main event between Armani Kayos, EFFY, Daphne Deville, and Brad Cashew, as well as two more Summer Of Slams Tournament three-way matches, and Milo Mirra put his Chaotic Wrestling New England Championship on the line against the debuting Jack Morris. However, the match that won the show over for me was the opening match of the night, which saw Liviyah team up with her real-life partner, DJ Powers, to face off with The Bratz, the Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Champion Shannon LeVangie, and Paris Van Dale. This was a very fun tag match, which featured four of the absolute brightest up-and-comers on the northeast independent wrestling scene. Liviyah is on an incredible run right now. She recently signed with the NWA, and for good reason. Liviyah is someone from the independent scene who has arguably the most potential I’ve seen in someone. So, it’s awesome to see her getting her shot in NWA to begin to carve her path on the national television scene. She is destined for huge things in this world. As for her partner in this one, DJ Powers, he’s someone I just have a blast watching. He’s a cocky, arrogant, annoying heel, but it’s hard to hate someone with that much talent. DJ Powers reminds me of a much, MUCH younger Shawn Michaels. He’s cocky, arrogant, and brash, but can 100% back it up in the ring. He’s destined for some huge things, and he’s someone I will go to bat for always. As for their opponents in this one, let’s start with Shannon LeVangie. LeVangie is someone whom I just adore watching. She’s so fun and crisp in the ring and has a ton of potential. She reminds me of a younger Bayley, during Bayley’s hugger-era. She has the Chaotic faithful in the palm of her hands and for good reason. She’s extremely talented. Her partner, Paris Van Dale, has been on a pretty fun babyface run in Chaotic Wrestling, but I’m still so used to her being a heel that this just feels interesting. Nonetheless, Paris Van Dale is another one of the bright up-and-coming talents on the northeast independent scene. She’s extremely talented and has so much charisma. I highly urge everyone to check this one out to see the future of the women’s wrestling scene right here in the northeast. It’s available on the Chaotic Wrestling Twitch & YouTube channel.

4. KILLERGOAT vs. The Production from Wrestling REVOLVER’s “No Country For Ole Mancer”
Up next, we saw Wrestling REVOLVER head back to the Calumet Center in Dayton, OH, for its big event, “No Country For Ole Mancer.” This was a blast of a show, which saw the first REVOLVER World Championship defense for Mance Warner as he battled Alex Colon, “Blackheart” Lio Rush battled Damian Chambers, Ace Austin teamed up with Rich Swann and Billie Starkz to battle Tye or Die for the REVOLVER World Tag Team Championships, and so much more. However, one of the best matches of the show was the mixed tag action, which saw Killer Kelly and Myron Reed, collectively known as KILLERGOAT, team up to face on The Production’s Katie Arquette and Derek Dillinger. This was a match that Kelly had wanted for a while, as she told Scott Mitchell and PWPonderings in her recent exclusive interview here. These four put on an incredible mixed tag match. Myron Reed and Killer Kelly are two of the brightest, among the brightest, of stars around today. Myron Reed is absolutely killing it in AEW, while Killer Kelly is continuing to show why, despite slowing down on bookings, she can go with the best of them. They are truly REVOLVER’s favorite couple for good reason, and who knows… It may not be long before we see KILLERGOAT head to television on All Elite Wrestling. Book it, Tony Khan. Their opponents in this one, Arquette and Dillinger, are two very fun independent wrestling talents to watch. Katie Arquette, once upon a time, was the next big thing. While for some reason her bookings may have slowed down, she is, without a doubt, someone I will always wave the flag for. She’s just so damn talented and deserves to be booked all over. Truthfully, I think Arquette would make an incredible Knockout in the TNA Knockouts division. Plus, if there was going to be a promotion on television for her “Production” gimmick to work at, it’s without a doubt going to be TNA. Derek Dillinger is someone who I’m not super familiar with, outside of his “Production” team with Arquette, but every time I see him in the ring, he’s just a ton of fun to watch. This team should, without a doubt, be on television soon, and I hope to see them land with a place like TNA or even the NWA. Go back and check this one out for free on the Wrestling REVOLVER YouTube channel. We’ll return to this show shortly.

3. Alvin Alvarez vs. Anthony Gangone from Victory Pro Wrestling’s “Battle In Bay Shore 4”
Coming in at number three on this list, we saw Alvin Alvarez defend the VPW Championship in the main event of VPW’s big show, “Battle In Bay Shore 4,” against the challenger, Anthony Gangone. This was a very fun show which also saw the likes of Security Inc. put their VPW Tag Team Championships on the line against Committed To Excellence, Rex Lawless put his VPW New York State Championship on the line against Brother Greatness, and Amity LaVey compete against Kalypto and The Unwilting Tatiana in a Top Contender’s match. While there was some excellent wrestling on this show, nothing came close to the main event and the story that the VPW Champion, Alvin Alvarez, and the challenger, Anthony Gangone, put on. Alvarez was irate earlier in the night because, in his mind, he shouldn’t have had to defend the VPW Championship against Gangone since he already beat him. However, VPW management had other ideas. So the match was made, and Alvarez begrudgingly accepted after being told he would be stripped of his title by the VPW owner. The two men had another outright incredible match. How either of these men is not booked more all over the place is just beyond me? If you’re looking for reliable talent who will give you a good match regardless of who you put in front of them, look no further than Alvarez and/or Gangone. Alvarez did an excellent job of just playing the monster heel in this one. He was taunting the crowd and telling them that they “wanted this” as Gangone would writhe in pain. Alvarez has been the VPW Champion for just over 90 days. He first won the vacant title after defeating Samwell Thompson back in March. The title was made vacant by Dezmond Cole due to health issues. However, Gangone and Alvarez have done an amazing job at continuing to promote the VPW Championship even in Cole’s absence. Gangone and Alvarez have tremendous chemistry in the ring, and they complement each other very well. They are truly your “favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestlers.” I give them both a ton of credit, as they don’t always get the flowers that they should. With that said, Gangone and Alvin are two of the absolute best around today in New York and should be treated as such. Go back and check this one out on the VPW YouTube channel as soon as it gets posted.

2. Brent Oakley vs. BDE from Wrestling REVOLVER’s “No Country For Ole Mancer”
Let’s return to that Wrestling REVOLVER event for number two on this week’s list. This show was an absolute blast; there were a ton of great matches, as listed above, including the number four spot between KILLERGOAT and The Production. However, the show-stealer in this one was the main event. The main event saw BDE put his REVOLVER Remix Championship on the line against his former best friend, Brent Oakley, in a Dayton Street Fight. This rivalry has gotten so personal. While they were once very close friends, Oakley decided to take matters into his own hands and turn on BDE and his former partners in Alpha Sig, KC Jacobs & Dick Meyers, to side with his new group, The Algorithm, with Joe Alonzo and Crash. The Algorithm had an amazing night at “No Country For Ole Mancer.” First, we saw Joe Alonzo defeat Steve Maclin in a singles contest, with some help from his Algorithm brethren. Then, later in the show, we saw Crash win the REVOLVER 24/7 Scramble Championship title to bring the first piece of gold to the group. However, The Algorithm had the chance to win two titles on this night. Without giving anything away, they had an amazing night. Now listen, taking nothing away from BDE, he has been a joy to watch. With that said, it was truly time for a change. BDE has shown many great things in the wrestling world, showing he’s more than just another random YouTuber trying to head into this world. With that said, I still hate seeing content creators head into this world and hold titles. I’ll let it slide with BDE because he has grown on me a lot. However, for example, Chris Danger, no reason he should have been the champion. It’s time to keep the titles on the legitimate wrestlers now, and not on these YouTubers and content creators who are testing themselves in this world. Brent Oakley, without a doubt, is the right choice to win this match. Oakley is someone whom I’ve been a fan of for a while, even while he was in his silly “Frat Boy” gimmick with Alpha Sig. However, I’m absolutely loving this more serious side to him. Oakley is showing that he’s still as talented as ever, even without his Alpha Sig buddies by his side. He’s on to much bigger and better things. Oakley is a wrestler through and through. He deserves this title, this win, and deserves to have a lengthy run with the REVOLVER Remix Championship. 1. Charles Mason vs. Terry Yaki from JCW’s “Saturday Nite”
Coming in at number one on this week’s must-see matches list, we saw Charles Mason put his Jersey Championship Wrestling World Championship on the line against Terry Yaki. While there was truly a lot to like on this weekend’s JCW event, it’s hard to argue that this wasn’t the best match on the card, or, truthfully, wasn’t the best match of the whole weekend. Mason defeated Billie Starkz back in February at the 2026 Jersey J-Cup to win the tournament and become the new JCW World Champion. Over the course of the next 129+ days, Mason has put the title on the line against the likes of Dr. Redacted and Marcus Mathers. While Terry Yaki may be younger than both of those names, he’s certainly not someone you should ever count out. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Charles Mason is on the best run of his entire career. Not only is he the JCW World Champion, but he’s also the Pro Wrestling Junkie Champion, the House Of Glory Heavyweight Champion, and the Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Champion. The wrestling world is beginning to take notice of Mason, and rightfully so. He’s beyond talented and deserves all the praise in the world for what he’s been accomplishing. He’s on the greatest run of his young career, and I have such high hopes for his future. As for Terry Yaki, what more can be said about how damn talented he is? He was recently on the Ring of Honor, which is only a testament to how hard he’s been working on the independents. Terry Yaki is someone who has grown on me a lot. I was a bit indifferent about the guy for a while, but with that said, he’s without a doubt someone who has proven himself as one of the bright up-and-coming stars on the independents today. If you want to see exactly what Terry Yaki is all about, look no further than this match. This one was an absolute blast. The two went to a 20-minute war, and just put on a classic Jersey Championship Wrestling main event. Go back and check this one out on TrillerTV+, it’s well worth the price of TrillerTV+ alone.
