Laynie Luck made history at St. Louis Anarchy’s “Mega Ticket” when she defeated Mat Fitchett to become the first woman to win the Gateway Heritage Championship, which is the top championship in Anarchy.
Laynie had the numbers against her and Fitchett was trying to cheat anyway that he could, even paying off one of the referees, but Laynie kept fighting back and won after forcing Fitchett to tap out.
The Gateway Heritage Championship has a history that dates back to 2007 and has been held by the likes of Gary Jay, Davey Vega, Anakin Murphy, Darin Corbin, Jeremy Wyatt, Thomas Shire and many others. Laynie will add this to her title collection along with her WWEID Women’s Championship and the United Glory Tag Team Championship, which she holds with Shazza McKenzie.
