We open with a tribute graphic to “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

We are in the back with Famous B/Ryan Taylor/Aaron Bolo. Aaron Bolo and Famous B are wrestling Rico Dynamite & Ray Rosas. Aaron and B promise that their revenge will be fulfilled tonight.

Match #1: Famous B & Aaron Bolo w/Ryan Taylor vs. Ray Rosas & Rico Dynamite w/Peter Avalon
B gets knocked off the apron by Rico to start. Rico & Rosas try to doubleteam, but Bolo sends Rosas to the outside. Bolo lays into Rico with chops and karate kicks. B tags in and hits a few arm drags on Rico and is locked in an armlock. Rico gets out and tags in Rosas. While the ref is distracted, Rico clotheslines Bolo and tags in as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, and Rico still has the advantage and tags in Rosas who puts Bolo in a headlock. After close to a minute, it looks like Bolo has faded out, but he starts to make a comeback. Bolo tries to kick, Rosas stops and spins him out, but Bolo hits a big Enzugiri. Both men crawl to their corners, and B lays into both Rico and Ray with leg lariats and dropkicks. B shoves him off though and eats a superkick from B. B goes for a cover but Rosas makes the save. Bolo comes in and Rosas looks for a springboard move, but Bolo hits a knee sending Rosas to the outside. Bolo lays out Rico with a big kick to the chest. B is up top and hits a beautiful Swanton Bomb for the 3 count.
Match Result: Famous B & Aaron Bolo win via Swanton Bomb by Famous B on Rico Dynamite in 7:36 (shown)
Pretty hot match to start the show. It slowed down a bit when it first came back from the break, but it was a great way to showcase four “exclusives” to NWA Hollywood. ***

Colt Cabana is in the back talk about his match with James Morgan tonight. Colt says how a lot has happened in two weeks (in reference to him not having the NWA title) but says the past is the past and he has to look to the future. Colt says no matter what the elements are, he will beat James Morgan tonight and will win the TV title.

Match #2:“Be The Star” TV Tournament Qualifier: Cedric The Hitman vs. Scorpio Sky
Scorpio immediately goes after Cedric and takes him down. Sky hits a big splash in the corner followed by ten punches to the head. He goes for more, but the ref pulls him up. With Sky distracted, Cedric immediately spears Sky’s left leg, the leg that has bothered Sky for several weeks throughout the series with Aries. Cedric goes to work on the leg, putting Sky in an indian deathlock. Sky gets a big knee to Cedric followed by a springboard crossbody. Sky follows with a missle dropkick for 2. Sky goes for some kicks with his right leg, but Cedric hits a dragon screw on Sky’s left leg, and locks in the Figure 8. Sky tries to punch out, and breaks the hold. Slow to get up, Cedric gets up first and hits sky with a Blue Thunder Driver for 2. Cedric goes for another hold, but Sky counters into a small package. Sky then puts Cedric in a Figure-Four Leglock and makes Cedric tap out.

Buggy is in the back talking about the way that her match with Candice went two weeks ago. Buggy is back at 100% and wants to inform Candice about how Candice embarrassed Buggy in front of her friends and family. She calls what Candice did cheap. If Candice wants to take her on one-on-one, Buggy is ready for any time and any place.

Match #3: The Tribe (Navajo Warrior & Hawaiian Lion) vs. Jaysin Strife & Jarek Matthews
Strike & Matthews get what I call the 2010 Desmond Wolfe entrance (aka no entrance). I do not quite like their chances here.

Lion and Jarek go at it but Jarek tags in Strife. Strife goes for a few shoulder blocks. He can’t tak down Lion so he stomps on Lion’s foot. He runs to the ropes but Lion hits a big clothesline and tags in Navajo Warrior. Navajo tosses Strife to the ropes and is met with a shoulder block and an elbow drop. Lion tags in, and The Tribe hit a double shoulder block on Strife. Lion hits a snap suplex for 2. Lion puts Strife in a neck vice, but Strife reaches the ropes. Lion hits a Saito Suplex on Strife. Navajo tags in and chops and slaps Strife in the corner. Navajo then hits a running splash in the corner. He goes for another charge, but Jarek on the floor pulls Strife out of the way and tags in Strife. Jarek tags in and tries to lay into Navajo. Strife charges but is sent to the floor. Navajo hits a crossbody and tags in Lion, who then hit Jarek with a rope-assisted Reservation Devastation (Double Reverse Suplex) for the 3 count.
Match Result: The Tribe win via Lion pinning Jarek after Reservation Devastation in 4:27.
I personally felt this should have been more of a squash to showcase the Tribe as a force to be reckoned with. It did a fair job of it, but I felt it could have been done better.

The RockNES Monsters are in the back talking about their 2/3 Falls Match next week with The Cutlers. Goodtime says that with both teams 1-1, this will settle the score between both times. The monsters are always ready to roll.
After how good their last two matches have been, I am highly anticipating this match. It should likely top their last one and provide a fantastic main event.

We got another video package with Johnny Cash’s Hurt in the background, and a book closing on a pair of brass knuckles with a gunshot going off. We then get text saying “I remember, reflect, and learn.”

Match #4:“Be The Star” TV Tournament Qualifier: James Morgan w/Stu Stone vs. Colt Cabana
Morgan’s attorney Mortimer Lipschitz gets on commentary. This is Morgan’s in-ring debut in NWA Hollywood.

Colt chases Morgan around the ring, but Morgan wants none of it. The two lock-up and Colt puts Morgan in a side headlock. Colt then breaks off and hits a shoulder tackle, followed by another one. Stu checks on Morgan. Morgan & Colt lock up again, but Colt again takes Morgan down with a shoudler tackle and Colt takes Morgan down with a side headlock. Morgan gets out and puts Colt in a headscissors. Colt balances himself and kicks Morgan in the head and goes back to a side headlock. Morgan shoves Colt to the turnbuckle. Colt boots him away though and hits a crossbody on Morgan. Colt goes back to the side headlock. Morgan counters and shoves Cabana to the ropes. Stu Stone grabs Colt’s leg. Morgan charges at Colt while he’s distracted but is sent over the ropes. Morgan has words with Stone and goes back in the ring. Stone distracts Colt, and Morgan takes advantage. Stone tries to distract Colt while he is on top. Morgan leaps to the middle rope and hits an armbreaker from the middle rope as we go to commercial break.

Back from break and Colt is in the corner trying to mend his arm. Morgan steps up and tries to lock Colt in a hold. Colt tries to counter but gets laid out with another armbreaker. Morgan holds onto Colt’s arm. Colt tries to get to the ropes, but ends up punching Morgan. Colt tosses him to the corner and charges, but Morgan moves, hurting his arm in the process. Morgan hits a legdrop on Colt’s arm for a 2 count. Morgan waits for Colt to get up, but Colt gets a few chops before Morgan again wrenches Colt’s arm. Morgan locks in an armbar. Colt ends up making it to the ropes. Morgan goes to the top rope and looks for a flipping senton, but Colt moves out of the way. The crowd chants “Colt” who fires up with clotheslines and Boom punches and a Bionic elbow for a 2 count. Colt throws Morgan to the ropes. Morgan hits a boot to Morgan’s face. Morgan runs the ropes and is met with the Flying Apple. Colt looks for the Billy Goat’s Curse, but Morgan kicks off and looks for a roll-up but gets 2. Colt then locks in the Billy Goat’s Curse, but the ref is still down. Joey Ryan comes out and ends up hitting a Superkick on Colt Cabana. He puts James Morgan on top of Colt. With the referee he recovered, he counts the 1-2-3.

Post-match, Colt Cabana looks confused over what just transpired.
Match Result: James Morgan wins via a Superkick by Joey Ryan in 12:31 (shown)
Largely a pretty flat match, which is a shame since the main events have been regularly enjoyable for weeks. The ending did not help much, but it is meant to further a feud so I’ll let that pass. The match wasn’t bad by any means, but I have seen better Colt Cabana matches. Not really sure what I think of James Morgan as a talent but he seems OK at least. **

OVERALL
Not bad, but not a great episode this week. The opener was quite enjoyable and I would say check it out, especially if you are unfamiliar with the four in the match and want some good tag team wrestling. I am glad that Scorpio Sky got in the tournament. The Tribe should have looked more dominant, and the main event, again, was pretty flat so I do not give a real high recommendation to watch the episode. I am highly anticipating the next one though, which should have a main event that will likely need to be seen by everybody.
