Shane McMahon, son of WWE chairman Vince McMahon and former VP of global media, has brokered a deal to bring Warner Brothers’ movies to China via the video demand service You On Demand, where he is CEO and chairman, according to Variety. Shane described the deal as “groundbreaking” and said while it was difficult leaving the family business, the opportunity to be a licensed distributor to China was too good to pass up. “I didn’t want to look back and regret not having done this,” Shane explained as his reason for leaving WWE.
