This was a hell of a match and a great (seemingly) conclusion to a really fun feud. I liked how the show started off with the action already going on. They utilized the stipulation in the best possible way and the match never felt like it dragged whatsoever. They busted out some rather unique stuff such as Goodtime’s stairwell dive and the double fallaway slam. The finish itself was a great visual and it was great to see RockNES stand tall when it was all said and done. Great match. Be sure to check this out! ****

Another fine match topped off with a really good ending. It was a bit sluggish for the majority of the match, but the last couple minutes bumped up my view of the match quite a bit. I’ve said it a few times about Joey Ryan now, but he really is fantastic with selling his personality in his matches. In this case, he showed how he was largely focused on Cabana which ended up being his downfall in losing here. SoCal winning really did surprise me, but it was the right decision. Now Joey can be more frustrated with Colt for when they eventually decide to collide. Decent match made very enjoyable by a very good ending. ***

OVERALL SHOW THOUGHTS
Very strong show from NWA Hollywood this week, largely thanks to the great match we got to start off the show with. The remainder of the show was paced really well, much like all of their shows. There were even some good promos tonight from both Navajo Warrior and Scorpio Sky. If you really only want to check one thing out though, it should be the opener which was a really great match. However, I would recommend checking out the entire episode. It just breezes by and is a very easy watch.

Individual Thoughts
– I am hoping they continue to go the “Guest Commentator” route that we have seen with Colt Cabana and Stu Stone the last two weeks. With that said, I do miss Excalibur.
– I’ve said it several times in this review, but definitely check out the tag match.
– SoCal’s promo was a bit iffy in execution but was overall effective.
– The Buggy/Candice feud has been built very well. I feel like if Candice had gotten DQed for the match for using a chair on Kitty, it may have been more effective to show her intensity, but what they did was still fine.
– Scorpio Sky’s promo was very enjoyable. I have always found him to be very charismatic and he showed it in this promo, especially with some enjoyable comedy.
– Terex truly is a sight to behold, as is his standing moonsault. Not that it is picture-perfect or anything like that, but the fact that a man of this mass can do that is quite the sight. I’m wondering as to when they will start to give him more serious competitors.
– I liked how Navajo was donning his business attire as opposed to the usual warpaint to put over how serious he was regarding his views on Natural Selection. Their match two weeks ago was fun and I am looking forward to a rematch.
– FINALLY, we got a payoff to the Hurt videos which appears to be an Adam Pearce last hurrah.
– Again, I thought the main event was a decent match that was made more enjoyable by the ending.
