  1. Looks like an awesome card. PWG has been really knocking it out of the park lately. I know all the focus is on WWE and ROH right now, but PWG has just been quietly putting on awesome show after awesome show. I don’t live in Cali, but I’ve bought every dvd since Seven. No wait, I lied, I didn’t get Kurt Russelreunion. I used to pick and choose what PWG shows to buy, like I’d do with any other promotion, but now with PWG (aside from Kurtrussel, I guess, I’m actually not sure why I never bought it) I just get them right away.

  2. I soooo want to jump on the PWG bandwagon. However, it doesn’t seem like they run the specials on their DVD’s like other companies do.

  3. They don’t run specials because they only have like 1 show per month so basically they rely on that money. They sometimes have package deals on past shows but for current shows they also have package deals so constantly check their website and you will see banners for those specials.

  4. Hey Bartoloco, go check out highspots.com. They produce PWG’s dvds for them, and that’s where you’ll be able to find deals from time to time. I recently took advantage of a special they were offering for PWG/DGUSA titles, two for 24.99 from select titles. I think that one ended, but I wouldn’t be surprised for them to offer something like that again. Also, all the shows from 2006 and earlier are 9.95. I’d reccomend all 3 nights of the 2006 BOLA. Also, the way I got into PWG in the first place was by randomly running into the PWG Sells Out dvd set 3 years ago or so. I found mine at Best Buy for like 15 bucks, but you can get them on the PWG site or on amazon or anywhere else, really. Also, ROH has some PWG dvds on their site. Once in a while they put all dvds on sale (rather than just ROH dvds) and when they do, I take advantage of that and pick up PWG titles as well. I really hope you get into PWG because they are amazing.

  5. You can go on amazon to see full match listings for the Sells Out sets (there are two). They are basically inexpensive “best of”s with matches from 05-08 and are really terrific. There are some classic matches on there, like CIMA vs. Bryan Danielson, El Generico vs. PAC, Generico vs. CIMA, Kazarian vs. Adam Pearce (Steel Cage match), Kevin Steen vs. Super Dragon (super violent death match), Samoa Joe vs. Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels vs. Jack Evans, Pac vs. Kevin Steen…there are way, way more but those are just some favorites of mine that I can remember off the top of my head.

  6. Much appreciated! I’ll do that for sure. I’ve been patiently waiting to dive into PWG, but after hearing the great Excaliber interview on the Art of Wrestling podcast and now with Kevin Steen as champion, I gotta make the move!
