How did you get started in Wrestling? ” I grew up watching wrestling with my grandmother and I fell in-love with the sport, more I watched wrestling the more I wanted to become a wrestler.  It wasn’t till 2004 I lost someone close to me my grandfather Clearance Gary. He was one of two people that told me if I put my mind to anything I could be anything I wanted to be. Soon As I graduated high school I went looking for a place to train it took me a while to find a place that was close for me to train. I finally found a place out of Greenville, North Carolina called “UWC” Universal Wrestling Council and started training in December of 2006 is when I started my training with and had my first match on March 07, 2007, I stayed trained and wrestler for them till being of 2009 then started wrestling and training with “PPW” Power Pro Wrestling till I moved to Florida in Sept of 2009.”

Any thoughts you have on PWEvo or it’s Talents:  “Funny thing when I first heard about Pro Wrestling EVO I was still living in Florida, while I was living there I always keep up with Wrestling here in Mid-Atlantic and EVO caught my eye and I was like DAMN I need to come back to Mid-Atlantic and wrestle for them because the way EVO was presented to me, made me want to pack my stuff and move back now we move forward to 2011 I do move back and I made it my first goal to become a member of PWEvo Roster and wrestle some of the best in the southeast today. As for the Talent in EVO from top to bottom it’s the best I seen in sometime now in the short time I’ve been in the wrestling business, I never really seen a group of guys that from the first match to the main event gives a 110% from the bell to bell, and not boost our heads but I believe the “Super H.E.X. Division” is looking to be a “BIG DEAL” in the year of 2012 and years to come with guys like Joe Black, Chiva Kid, Ben Tyler, Trevor Lee, Chip Day, Corey Hollis and myself we are sure to give the PWEvo fans what like to see”

Year In Review: Robyn Golphin is very new to Pro Wrestling EVO, having just a few matches with the company thus far. Golphin has taken on any and all challengers in his short time with the promotion. Starting from his debut in September 2011, the pre show match before the night’s event which earned him a callback & a spot in the brand new Super High Energy Xperience (SuperHEX division.) Prior to the induction of SuperHEX Golphin battled KC McKnight at Battlefield EVO sustaining brutal move after brutal move and showing the heart he has come to be known for. This was a losing effort for Golphin, but a  learning experience without a doubt. Golphin was last seen taking place in the 6 way debut of the SuperHEX division. This was an exciting, lightning fast debut for the division.  Unfortunately Golphin was the first to be pinned by veteran Kirby Mack leaving The Relentless one with 0 points currently on the SuperHEX leaderboard. That aforementioned heart & can do attitude may have gotten Golphin into some trounle coming up at ‘EPIC’ in March as the young lion has challenged the mentally unstable, former Pro Wrestling EVO champion Cedric Alexander. Alexander has said he will KILL Golphin at ‘EPIC’ but we know Robyn can take a beating & survive, Could he not only survive but pick up his 1st EVO win against a Pro Wrestling EVO legend?

2012 Mission Statement: ” My mission, my plan, my statement for  2012 is to do what I’ve been doing for the last 8 years and that’s just progress in this business and become one of the best Junior-Heavyweights wrestling in this business. Starting on March 9th, 2012 I will start the road of progression when I take on Former Pro Wrestling EVO Heavyweight Champion Cedric Alexander. Then win or lose I make my way back into the H.E.X. Division and I will  make it to the top of the leader board, then off to “This is Wrestling” where I make THE statement as I become the first PWEvo H.E.X. Division Champion!”
