How did you get started in Wrestling? “I signed up for the Funkin’ Conservatory Camps, and wrestled for Dory for a while, then got hooked up with Rings at Highspots to fine tune my training and begin wrestling in the Carolinas.”

Year In Review: As I’ve said before Jimmy Jack Funk Jr harkens back to the days of 80’s NWA wrestling. A rough, tough cowboy with a mean attitude. This past year JJF has really committed himself to crossfit training & you can see a difference in both weight loss & muscle gained at each show. Funk picked up many impressive wins during the first year of Pro Wrestling Evo. Starting the year with a feud with local favorite Big Country and these two brawled more than competed in the ring before Country ended up leaving the promotion. Funk Jr claimed victories over Mike Merletti and “Mr Elite” Drew Myers in a Texas Bullrope match before 2011 was over. I think it’s safe to say a new & IMPROVED Jimmy Jack Funk Jr will make even more of a statement in the new year. Having already won the GOGUE wrestling heavyweight title & competing often with Zane Riley could tag titles be in the future for JJF Jr? One thing is for sure, everytime you step into the ring with the man from the Double Deuce you’re in for a fight.
