Year In Review: Cedric Alexander was becoming a name known to Pro Wrestling fans in January 2011, however after the inaugural Evo Eight tournament(which Alexander won to claim the first EVO Heavyweight title) both fans & promoters took notice. Alexander signed a contract with Ring of Honor just months after his massively successful debut in Pro Wrestling Evo. Alexander continued to consistently have MOTN performances at PWEvo defeating Jake Manning at “Life As We Know It” before suffering one of a short list of hiccups at July's “This is Wrestling!”. Alexander lost the PWEvo title to Marcellus King(who bullied his way into the title shot) and pulled off the win with help from his Cirkus henchman Circo.  Alexander was matched up with King's “Man Creature” Circo at “Best Show In Town” and took his frustrations out on  in a decisive victory before finally getting his rematch for the title in a BRUTAL No DQ match at “#FollowThis”. Alexander & Marcellus King fought all throughout the building in September of 2011 but in the end it was King faking an injury and delivering a devestating chair shot to Cedric Alexander derailing his hopes of regaining the PWEvo title. Many would say this is where Alexander started going downhill mentally as he dropped his second straight match at 'BattleField EVO' to Joey Silvia in what many people deemed MOTY for PWEvo. Throughout and after the match Alexander berated the referee and delivered a sickening brainbuster on the apron to Silvia before leaving the arena. We next saw a refocused Cedric Alexander at the 2nd Evo Eight tournament in January 2012 looking to win the tournament once again and more importantly get another shot at what he belives is HIS PWEvo heavyweight championship. Alexander looked as focused and brutal as ever in a first round match  with Kirby Mack which could've went either way but in the end Alexander advanced to set up a rematch from the finals one year ago with Zack Salvation. Another great match followed but with a different result from the previous year, after trying everything to put him away, it was Salvation who got the rollup on Alexander to advance to the finals and eventually win the tournament. Alexander was pulled into a war of words with young upstart “Relentless” Robyn Golphin(whom Alexander helped get into PWEvo) and once again his frustrations were taken on out in a hard fought victory over  the young, lion hearted kid at March's 'EPIC'.  The events which came later in the night at 'EPIC' in hindsight we should've seen coming but ultimately left the crowd silenced. Zack Salvation defeated Marcellus King in a war to become the new PWEvo champion and it was Alexander emerging masked as Circo and delivering a brainbuster to the newly crowned champion. Cedric had one more surprise for the crowd in Concord on March 9 as the stunned crowd looked on Alexander revealed a Cirkus T-Shirt to show he was now aligned with Marcellus King and the Cirkus was back in town. Cedric Alexander is refocused on regaining the PWEvo heavyweight title and a reign of terror with Marcellus King in the Cirkus. Recently on an EpisodeEvo podcast he laid out a challenge to Salvation and sent his first video message which you can view at www.prowrestlingevo.com Salvation & Alexander are headed for a collision at some point and it's sure to be a battle but does the future look bright for Alexander to become the only 2-time PWEvo champion? Or did Cedric Alexander make the wrong decision in sidiing with the Evil Cirkus as the war of good versus evil rages on in Pro Wrestling Evo?
