The show starts off with Chris Hagstrom and Kevin Hunsperger addressing the title change at Summer Chaos. They then say that Mike masters, who became the new AAPW Champion at Summer Chaos, has requested time to address AAPW and the fans. We then see Jimmy Fish in the ring who announces former AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund “Livewire” McGuire. Livewire’s music starts to play, but Livewire is not who walks out. AAPW founder and owner Sean Chambers walks out from the back and climbs into the ring.

Chambers takes the mic from Jimmy Fish and begins to address the crowd. He says that the fans deserve an explanation. He then begins to address what happened at Summer Chaos. Chambers says that his future priority is to find someone to take the belt off of Mike Masters as soon as possible. Chambers then begins to make what in my opinion amount to nothing but excuses for his own actions at Summer Chaos. He says that Livewire was in a submission hold and could have been permanently injured and THAT is why he threw in the towel for McGuire. The fans begin screaming at Cha,bers about how he screwed McGuire and sold out to Masters. He then calls out Livewire so he can give him “an explanation”. Edmund “Livewire” McGuire then comes out from the back.

Edmund climbs into the ring and looks at Chambers like he wants to Super Kick him on the spot. Chambers then goes into the multitude of “excuses” for why he threw in the towel. Chambers goes on for several more minutes before Livewire takes the mic and begins to speak his mind. After several minutes Edmund says he wants his rematch and Chambers goes right back to making excuses before telling Livewire he gets one LAST chance at Mike Masters to take the belt from him. Chambers says the the next episode of Collision will see “The Masterpiece” Mike masters defend his AAPW Title against Edmund “Livewire” McGuire.

Next up is Brandon Espinoza talking about his match with Matt Cage later in the night.

Justice

Vs.

Chase King

Recap – The match kicks off with Justice quickly taking King down, to which King tries to claim a hair pull. King ducks a couple of Clothes Lines before running into a Bear Hug from Justice which quickly turns into a Suplex straight out of the ring. The match then moves to the outside where King throws Justice into the guard rail. King then throws Justice back into the ring and begins working on Justice’s shoulder and knee. After several minutes of working on Justice’s leg, King puts on a Figure 4 in an attempt to submit Justice for the first time ever. Justice attempts to roll over and reverse the hold before King breaks it. The 2 men go back to their feet and Justice attempts to gain some offense before running into a clothes line from King. King climbs to the top rope and attempts a Flying Cross Body Block. Justice catches King in mid-air and drops him in the Black Diamond Slam to get the 3 count.

Winner by pinfall: Justice

Review: This is a pretty good match between 2 fairly big men. Justice has a lot to prove coming off of his loss to Big Bull Bronson at Summer Chaos. Both men have a lot of promise for big things to come.

–          Next up is Matt Cage talking about his match with Brandon Espinoza later in the night.

“Old School Warrior” Ax Allwardt w/Gaylord Stevens & J. Wellington Beaureguard

Vs.

LaMarkus Clinton

Recap: The match starts off with Ax attempting to keep Clinton grounded. The 2 men trade wrist locks back and forth before Clinton uses the ropes to flip out and delivers a drop kick to Allwardt. Clinton does a little showing off allowing Ax to regain his composure and take over in the match. Ax gets a couple of 2 counts on Clinton after which Clinton gets his own 2 count. Ax takes back over and begins to just punish Clinton over and over again. Clinton attempts several times to take control, but just doesn’t quite get it done. The match ends with Allwardt getting the 3 count after a Piledriver in the middle of the ring.

Winner by pinfall: “Old School Warrior” Ax Allwardt

Review: Watching Allwardt always reminds me of watching Mid South wrestling and guys like The Freebirds, Jim Duggan, and Butch Reed with my dad. As much as I want to despise him for his ring antics and the way he usually wins his matches, I have to admit he is one hell of a brawler. LaMarkus Clinton, while having some talent, seemed to get ahead of himself several times in the match and miss moves. I see a lot of potential for Clinton, but he needs to slow it down at times.

-Next up is an interview segment with “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich talking about his near fatal motorcycle accident, his future in the business, and his past career highlights.-

-Next is supposed to be the first of the No Limits Tournament match between KC Jackson and Sean Vincent. Jackson comes out and takes the mic and says that he was told upon arrival that Vincent wasn’t there because of the submission hold applied to wwin the 4-Way at Summer Chaos by Jackson. Jackson then says he didn’t come all that way to not have a match and says that he will put his place in the tournament up against ANYONE from the No Limits division in an open challenge match…..

“The Main Attraction” KC Jackson

Vs.

Kyle Sykes

Recap: Both men are HUGE fan favorites in AAPW and this looks to be  a great match. It starts off with the 2 men shaking hands and begins circling one another. After a lock up Jackson gets an arm toss take down and allows Sykes to get to his feet. Jackson gets Sykes in a wrist lock and begins working on the arm. KC is in control at this point keeping Sykes in a constant arm bar or wrist-lock. Sykes gets Jackson going in circles and drops to the mat to release the hold sending Jackson through the ropes and out to the floor. After coming back into the ring Jackson quickly takes control again before being pushed into the corner and taking a few shots from Sykes. The 2 men come off the ropes and after a lariat, Jackson once again takes control. After several minutes Sykes is sent into the top turn buckle from a Sling Shot. Jackson continues to work Sykes over, before getting somewhat frustrated after a 2 count on Sykes. Jackson argues with the ref a little allowing Sykes to regain composure and an advantage. Sykes gets his own 2 count on Jackson, and takes control of the match. After several minutes Sykes gets another 2 count and again is in control of the match. After several minutes, Jackson once again takes control and begins working on Sykes once more. The 2 begin trading punches before Jackson takes control and gets another 2 count. Sykes the gains control and after a belly to back suplex gets another 2 count. Sykes attempts to go to the top rope only to be stopped by Jackson, who pulls Sykes down and applies the heel hook to win the match.

Winner by Submission: “The Main Attraction” KC Jackson

Review: This was a hell of a match between 2 pretty evenly matched guys. The 2 trade move for move and get several 2 counts on one another. The No Limits division reminds me of a mix of Cruiserweight/X Division/Extreme Division with all the guys having an anything goes attitude…

Matt Cage

Vs.

Brandon Espinoza

Recap: The match starts off with Christian Rose attempting to take out Espinoza before the bell ever rings. Espy sees Rose coming over his shoulder though and after ducking the clothes line sends Rose out of the ring with a drop kick and lariat. Espy quickly takes over the match and begins working on cage. The match is fast paced right from the start with Espy working on cage in and out of the ring. The match moves to the outside at which point it goes back and forth with each man using the guard rail to gain an advantage. Espy throws Cage back into the ring and as he goes to reenter the ring Rose grabs his ankle in an attempt to cause Espy to get counted out. Ace Hawkins runs Rose off, at which point Zakk Sawyer comes out of the back and begins to cheer on Matt Cage, to the surprise of everyone. Cage is in complete control at this point and begins working on Espy keeping him on the mat. After several minutes Espy attempts a come-back, only to be stopped in his tracks once again by Cage. Cage attempts to hit Espy with double knees in the corner only to be caught in mid-air by Espy. At this point Espy amounts some offense only to be stopped once again by Cage. Cage then begins going back and forth with Zakk Sawyer in an attempt to find out just WHY he is at the ring, before walking into a stroke from Espy. After several strikes from each man the 2 are down in the middle with Espy getting to his feet first and taking control once again. Espy gets another 2 count on Cage, delivers a back breaker, gets another 2 count, and begins to show his frustration. After delivering a Bulldog off the ropes, ala Randy Orton’s middle rope DDT, Cage goes to the ring apron and after some show boating delivers a flying elbow drop. Espy  is able to regain some momentum and deliver the Comb Over for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Brandon “Espy” Espinoza

Review: This was another hell of a match between 2 guys with A LOT of history in the tag team division. While they have faced each other many times as part of their respective tag teams, this was the first time they have faced off one-on-one. Both men gave it their all, both believing they had something to prove.

AAPW continues to improve in all aspects of the product. If they had the right backing and could up the production, I believe they have the talent and heart to give both ROH and TNA a run for the top Indy spots.
