Christian Rose
Vs.
Ace Hawkins
Recap: There is SERIOUS heat going into this match. These 2 teams have been at each other’s throats for months now. Brandon Espinoza holds a win over Matt Cage, now Ace Hawkins attempts to get a win over Christian Rose. The match begins with Ace Hawkins playing to the crowd and Rose attempting to get a leg up by attacking from behind. Hawkins avoids the attack and takes Rose down with a hip toss. Rose blocks several attempted take downs, before the 2 men trade pin attempts. Rose gets Hawkins up on his shoulders in a modified torture rack before placing him on the top turnbuckle. Rose tries to go on the attack, but is blocked by Hawkins. Hawkins knocks Rose off and goes for a flying body press off the turn buckle and gets a 2 count on Rose. Hawkins quickly goes back on the attack keeping Rose on the defensive. Rose gets tied up in the ropes and Matt Cage attempts to keep Hawkins distracted allowing Rose time to get out of the ropes. Rose is able to go on a short offensive at this point, before the 2 men again trade strikes back and forth. Rose hits Hawkins with several strikes before getting a 2 count. Hawkins attempts a body press, but once again is caught by Rose who then drops Hawkins in a modified Death Valley Driver. After going back and forth the match goes to the outside. Hawkins attempts a Hurricanrana on Rose from the ring apron, only to have Rose block it. Rose then executes an airplane spin on Hawkins hitting his head on the guard rail. Hawkins is able to jump back into the ring at the last second. After scoring pin falls on one another, Hawkins hits several high risk moves. Hawkins goes for a move off the ropes only to have Zakk Sawyer come from nowhere and trip him up. At this point Rose gets the pin to win the match, albeit with the help of both Matt Cage and Zakk sawyer.

Winner by pinfall: Christian Rose

Review: This was a fairly fast paced match between 2 great wrestlers. Love him or hate him Rose is a capable athlete in the ring and always gives his all. Hawkins is a pure high flyer and loves going for the high risk moves. Looking forward to a lot of great things from tthese 2 men.

Truk Thompson
Vs.
The Mississippi Madman

Recap: This promises to be a HUGE match (pun intended). Madman is one of the all-out fan favorites, while Truk is slowly making a name for himself. It starts off with Truk throwing his shirt at Madman and running in to attempt a take down. Madman quickly turns the tide though and hits Truk with several moves before getting him in a 2 handed choke. To everyones COMPLETE surprise though, Truk is able to break the hold and knock Madman down. Truk goes for a pin, but Madman is able to kick out. After both men get back on their feet, Madman once again takes control of the match. Madman hits Truk with a clothesline, sending him over the top rope and to the floor. Madman follows Truk to the floor where the fight continues. After several minutes Truk goes back into the ring, distracting the referee. At this point Bull Bronson comes out and attacks Madman leaving him lying on the floor, and allowing Truk to gain the win via count out.

Winner by count out: Truk Thompson

Review: This is a pretty good match between 2 big men. Truk is making a name for himself in AAPW and Madman is always at the top with fans. The 2 put on a classic “big man” match with lots of power moves and strokes. Curious to see what comes of Truk Thompson and Bull Bronson interfering in one another’s matches.

Next we see Gaylord Stevens talking about Ax Allwardt and his recent losing streak with his new little patsy taking note. He calls out Ax who talks about his match with Heath Hatton at Summer Chaos.

Heath Hatton
Vs.
David Osbourne

Recap: The match is joined in progress where we see Hatton has Osbourne in a side headlock. Osbourne makes several attempts to break the headlock, but fails. Osbourne is finally able to break the headlock and goes on the attack before Hatton stops Osbourne with a drop kick. Osbourne is once again able to take control of the match hitting Hatton with several power moves before putting Hatton into what resembles a Camel Clutch with one hand and delivers strokes to Hatton’s chest. Osbourne continues working on Hatton’s back. Osbourne remains in control for much of the match. Each man gets several 2 counts, before Hatton hits a sort of modified DDT/Bulldog for the 3 count and win.

Winner by pinfall: Heath Hatton

Review: This is a good match for Hatton going into his match with NWA Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce. Osbourne is a fairly big man and puts up a fight for against Hatton.
As Hatton is celebrating his win in the ring, J. Wellington Beauregard comes out and begins to talk down to everyone. He then goes into his “deal” with Gaylord Stevens, who is “training” him to be a wrestling manager. Beauregard tells Hatton he is not done with Allwardt until they say he is done. As Hatton goes in to tell Beauregard he is DONE, both Allwardt and Stevens come out and attack Hatton leaving him laying in the middle of the ring.

Next up is part 2 of the special interview series with “Serial Thriller” Shane Rich, talking about his beginnings.

Edmund “Livewire” McGuire
Vs.
“The Masterpiece” Mike Masters
Recap: This match serves as Livewire’s final chance at the title belt, which he lost at Summer Chaos due to Sean Chambers throwing in the towel while Masters had him in a submission hold. After Livewire gives a fan at ringside his Do rag, Masters runs over and attempts to take it from the fan. Livewire runs over and attacks from behind before throwing Masters back in the ring to begin the match. Livewire is on the offensive to start the match taking the fight to Masters. After a missed frog splash from Livewire, Masters goes on the attack and begins working on McGuire. Masters attempts to get counted out, but the ref stops the count and allows Livewire to throw him back into the ring. Livewire is in control at this point and begins to signal for the super kick. Masters catchs the foot and hits Livewire with a low blow to the groin to intentionally get disqualified.

Winner by DQ: Edmund “Livewire” Mcguire
Mike Masters retains thee title.

Review: This was Livewire’s last chance at the title and Masters knew that when he intentionally got himself DQ’ed. The match went back and forth between the 2 men both of whom had a lot to lose. Hopefully this is not the end to the feud between the 2.

AAPW has a very compelling story line going with the whole Masters/McGuire feud going on. I am hoping they play it out naturally instead of it just falling to the way side like so many other feuds/storylines in wrestling now days.
