Beyond Wrestling. Some of you may have heard of it. Some of you might have not. But if you're reading this article, now you have and hopefully you'll be keeping an eye on them long after you're done reading. Beyond Wrestling for the longest time focused on letting guys practice their trade in front of small audiences of other wrestlers. Sounds odd right? Those shows (which you can get IN FULL HERE) helped Beyond grow a special culture within itself. Then in 2011, Beyond Wrestling decided to host their first LIVE event, and that changed a lot of things.
They have always released countless hours of footage on their Youtube page for free with names such as ACH, AR Fox, Matt Angel, JAKA and many more before they were as well known as they are now and while they continue to do so on a daily basis, there was something special growing. On Sunday, July 21st in Providence, Rhode Island, Beyond Wrestling is hosting what I feel is one of the best cards of the summer, if not the entire year, Americanrana. You could listen to two podcasts that we conducted here on PWP with Drew Cordeiro, who was the founder of Beyond Wrestling and is now associated with WSU and CZW, or you could just take my word that this is one of the most important show in Beyond Wrestling history. Before we go any further, let's take a look at the card:

Just by reading off the names alone, you can tell this is something special. If you're on the east coast and Providence is within driving distance, I highly encourage you to be at this show. You have two former ROH World champions, the current CZW,DGUSA, and EVOLVE Champions all involved. Not only that but they are going to mix it up with some of the best up-n-coming indie wrestling talent in Biff Busick, Chris Dickinson, Jaka, Anthony Stone, and JT Dunn. You also have one of the hottest tag teams out there today in the #KOA of Dunkerton and Epic on the card. What else do you need to know?
Beyond Wrestling has never been one to be satisfied with going with the status quo. When others were focused on DVDs, they went to Youtube. When others were focused on the hottest talents, Beyond was helping the young guys get better. Now they are putting on a great card and we all have a chance to help them succeed in this becoming one of the most successful ventures for Beyond Wrestling yet. Drew Cordeiro shared on our recent podcast with him (that you can find here) that this event has already sold more pre-sale tickets than any other Beyond event and that the venue that they are at, Fete Music, has helped them in so many ways and they hope to stay at the awesome venue for many years. There is definitely something special in the air about this show on Sunday, July 21st and I hope you all take advantage of being able to see it either live or on DVD.
