This week will be the 5th episode of Beyond Wrestling’s Signature Series. Signature Series is a weekly show clocking in under one hour. Usually it features a match from their Tournament For Tomorrow tag team tournament, a Greatest Rivals Round Robin match, as well as a bonus Signature Series match but this week is different.

We’re up to the Semi-Finals of the Tournament For Tomorrow tag team tournament. 40 Acres, Ephemera (formerly known as Nouveau Aesthetic), Milk Chocolate and The Bird And The Bee have all advanced to the second round. In this episode we find out which two teams will make their way to the finals.

As for the Greatest Rivals Round Robin tournament, Chris Dickinson and Matt Makowski both have a record of 2-0 and will be meeting eachother in the finals of GRRR during the season finale of Signature Series. Tony Deppen and Wheeler YUTA are both scoreless.

Signature Series this week comes with not 3 but 4 fresh matchups. Beyond Wrestling’s Signature Series can be seen on Thursday nights at 8pm EST on IWTV. If you aren’t already subscribed to IWTV, you can sign up using promo code PWP for a FREE trial.

The opening match sees two women that will make a huge impact on the independent scene this year. The Good Witch Kaia McKenna will be taking on Russian Dynamite Masha Slamovich. McKenna, coming out of the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy is looking to seize the opportunity in her Beyond Wrestling debut. While Slamovich is making her return to Beyond Wrestling. She has a loss to Aaron Rourke during the Discovery Gauntlet on Season 2. Since then Slamovich has gone to Japan and improved her craft. Now that he’s back in the United States, she’s dangerous to any opponent she steps in there with.

Our first Tournament For Tomorrow match has the newly named team of Ephemera, formerly known as Nouveau Aesthetic, taking on Milk Chocolate. Ephemera consisting of the former Still Life and BLANK, got through the first round by defeating Bobby Orlando and Bryce Donovan of the Shook Crew. Edith Surreal and Saint Jaxon Dupont are now hoping to make their way to the finals. In their way is the self proclaimed Aces of Beyond Wrestling, Milk Chocolate. Their first round match saw them getting the victory over the newly reunited Faith In Nothing. They had to use underhanded tactics to win the match, blinding their opponents with some sort of chocolate powder. Will they have to cheat to win here again to make it to the finals? Gotta expect that they will even if they don’t have to.

This week we get not just one but two Tournament For Tomorrow matches. The second Semi-Finals match has PB Smooth and Tre LaMar of 40 Acres squaring off against The Bird And The Bee, Solo Darling and Willow Nightingale. In the premiere episode of Signature Series 40 Acres was able to pick up the victory over The REP. The Bird And The Bee was the last team to advance to the Semi-Finals of the tournament, after they defeated the monster team of Rex Lawless and Mike Verna. Both teams had great showings in their opening round matches so expect no different here.

This week’s Greatest Rivals Round Robin match determines who finishes last in the entire tournament. Both Tony Deppen and Wheeler YUTA sit at 0-2, this means neither man can win the tournament. Even if they’re statistically eliminated from the tournament, you have to believe neither man wants to finish dead last. Deppen and YUTA has never faced off inside a Beyond Wrestling ring before. A crazy contest from these two adding to the excellent series of matches in this GRRR tournament is the most likely scenario here.
