This show is the one that I believe has the potential to be the show of the week. Game Changer Wrestling’s baby promotions will go head to head as the East Coast will battle the West Coast. Even though there’s a number of wrestlers in JCW not based out of the East Coast, they will be representing the East Coast brand, Jersey Championship Wrestling.

The West Coast doesn’t always get the recognition they deserve in the independent wrestling world. Expect them to be going into this event hungry and with chips on their shoulders. The JCW team might be in for a tough battle.

To find out who wins the battle, check out LA Fights vs JCW on Friday April 1st at 11am CDT. Here’s a full rundown of all 8 announced matches. For match announcements and information regarding all 12 Collective events, you can visit HERE.

The two captains of the promotions they’re representing. B-Boy and Grim Reefer are both legends in independent wrestling and both have been wrestling for over 20 years. Since JCW’s relaunch, Reefer has been on a huge winning streak. As for B-Boy, he’s been on quite a role since returning from injury. He also might feel like he has to make a huge statement, being that he missed last year’s Mania weekend due to that same injury. This match could go either way.

These two behemoths first faced off at the Hammerstein Ballroom during the pre-show Battle Royal. The rivalry between the two continued when both men had to get pulled apart by security during LA Fights Volume 3. This is the ultimate hoss fight. Expect two meaty men slapping meat.

Despite wrestling on behalf of JCW, Charles Mason might be the only wrestler not accepted by their own locker room. I’m sure that doesn’t matter to Mason as he’s said he doesn’t care about the turf war. This all started when Mason flew to Los Angeles just to put a plastic bag over Dark Sheik’s head. A statement was made but Sheik returned the favor, doing the same thing to Mason during his match with Grim Reefer at March Madnezz. This match has some bad blood going into it so this could end up violent.

Cole Radrick is possibly going into this match as the huge fan favorite. He has a fantastic win/loss record in JCW, only losing once in a match against Matt Makowski. Kevin Blackwood has been on quite a roll himself. In my opinion he’s in the top 5 independent wrestlers of this year so far. Radrick will be coming into this match following a huge deathmatch with Akira the night before. Blackwood might have to take advantage of this and break down Radrick’s body even more. Can Radrick pick up the victory few hours after a grueling match? Either way, this will be good.

These two women might be considered the heart of their respective promotions. Billie Starkz has been a huge breakout star on the independents for the past two years and has had huge opportunities throughout her young career. While her opponent Sandra Moone is just starting to get those same opportunities, having faced Dark Sheik, Bad Dude Tito and Allie Katch in LA Fights. Moone has yet to pick up a victory so a win in this match is very crucial. She has the most to prove in this match, and that could be dangerous.

This match could very well end up stealing the entire show. Two young stars that have really bright futures ahead of them. While Nick Wayne has only competed in one LA Fights event, he is one of the top stars coming out of the West Coast right now. Marcus Mathers on the other hand is a JCW regular. His win/loss record in the promotion isn’t favorable, but he picked up a victory in a scramble match at the last JCW event. He’s going to need to ride that momentum going into this one because Wayne is at the top of his game right now.

Alec Price and Jack Cartwheel is another match that is sure to delight the fans. Cartwheel is coming off a best of three series against Brandon Gatson where he came out the victor. As for Alec Price, The Northeast Beast is on a tare through the indies right now. He’s holder of both the Limitless Wrestling and Southern Underground Pro Bonestorm Championships. Both men’s records stand at 2-1 for their promotions. Who will come out the victor?

There’s a lot of factors going into this match but in order to gain victory the main factor would be unity. Which team is going into this match more unified than the other? The answer to that might be LA Fights. Looking at the JCW side of things, there’s Bam Sullivan and Slade in the same corner. These two have had their issues lately and they’re battling in a deathmatch at Planet Death less than 12 hours before. If the JCW team wants to even stand a chance against their opponents, they have to find a way to work together. With 16 wrestlers in one match, this will sure be wild.
