There was another great episode of MLW’s Underground Wrestling this week on Reelz. The action was non stop!

We open up with Real1 getting hit by car in the parking lot. It was Mance Warner behind the wheel. Mance got out of the car and told Real1 never to steal from a redneck! Then proceeded to call Real1 “a yankee piece of shit”!

The Unground opening aired and the announce team of Joe Dombowski and Matt Striker came on introducing themselves. Ring Announcer is Tim Barr.

Sam Adonis comes down to the ring with Cesar Duran and two of his masked henchmen. Duran grabs the mic and says he has a briefcase full of one million pesos. He will offer it to anyone that can come down and beat Adonis.

Duran hands the mic to Sam Adonis who cuts a promo introducing himself while he belittles the crowd. He calls them all fat ugly pieces of garbage, as the crowd boos.

Calvin Tankman comes out with EJ Nduka.

Sam Adonis vs Calvin Tankman
Nduka joins the commentary team and talks about him hitting Lance Anoa’i with cinder block last week. In the ring, Adonis walks along the top rope and performs a blockbuster on Tankman. Adonis then distracts the ref while Duran choked Tankman over the ropes with the aide of his suitcase. Nduka stood up at the announcers table yelling in protest.
Adonis walks the top rope again, however this time Tankman knocked him off. While dazed, Tankman hits him with a shoulder block knocking him off the apron onto the henchmen outside the ring. Once back in the ring, Tankman throws Adonis up in the air and hits him with a back fist. He covered him for the pin but only got a two count.
In the closing moments of the match, Adonis hits a low blown on Tankman while referee was trying to break them apart. Adonis then hits a 450 splash to pick up the three count and a win.                                               Result: Sam Adonis defeats Calvin Tankman via pinfall.
Nduka stood up again to protest and complain about the referee. Adonis grabbed the mic and talked down about American wrestling compared to wrestling in Mexico. He called out Davey Richards asking for a title shot.
MLW National Openweight Champ Davey Richards answers the call and proceeds to the ring. This quickly cleared Adonis from the ring. Duran’s masked henchmen attacked Richards causing Adonis to come back into the ring to help beat down on Richards.
John Hennigan made his entrance with a chair in hand to a pop from the crowd. He enters the ring and all the heels flee from the ring. Hennigan then turns and hits Richards with the chair.  Adonis and the masked henchman came back in the ring and continued to beat up Richards.
Duran took the mic and bragged about bringing the absolute best Luchadoras to MLW. He said all the champions will be with him.
They cut to Yamato promo and him speaking about tonight’s main event. Then there’s a commercial break.
Back from break the next match is set to take place and announced.
The Billington Bulldogs (Tom & Mark Billington) vs The FBI (Little Guido & Ray Jaz)
We start off the match with Jaz hitting a running crossbody block that took him and Tom Billington outside the ring to the floor.
While action was going on in the ring, there was Picture in Picture showing an ambulance. The announce team said they will keep giving updates on the Real 1 and Warner situation as it develops.
There was some back and forth action for a bit by both teams. The ending came when Mark Bellington caught Jaz when he attempted to leap from ropes. Tom performed a missile dropkick on Jaz while being held by Mark for the three count and the win.
Result: The Billington Bulldogs defeats The FBI via pinfall.
Jacob Fatu is announced as coming up to speak about championship match with the winner of the Hammerstone vs Yamato. A brief calling card attacker video plays and then goes to a commercial break.
Back from the break we get a video package of the past few week’s history between Mance Warner & Real1. We then go to Sam Laterna who is backstage with Alex Hammerstone. He addresses his match with Yamato later and the threat of Jacob Fatu cashing in to face him prior to Superfight, possibly tonight after the match when he’s not 100%. The calling card attacker’s image flashed on the screen while Hammerstone was talking. Hammerstone assures he is ready for Fatu whenever. That he’s the champ and he will remain the champ!
We get a replay showing what just happened previously when Davey Richards was attacked by Hennigan, Adonis, and the masked henchman. Davey Richards is then interviewed on stage by Sam Laterna. Richards makes fun of all the names Hennigan has had in the past. Richards said Philadelphia is a fighting city and he is a fighting champ. Cesar Duran appeared on the big screen to ask if Richards was serious about that? If so, Duran said he has the right man. John Hennigan walked into the picture and said he will see him next week. Richards responds by saying he is going to kick his ass next week.
The Main Event was promoted and hyped going into a commercial break.
Back from the break Joe Dombrowski spoke about Richards against Hennigan next week. He then said authorities were on the scene in the parking lot, where Warner ran over Real 1.
Jacob Fatu package is shown and Fatu delivers a promo on Hammerstone. Fatu said he can cash in on Hammerstone anywhere, but it’s a wrap that the golden ticket would be cashed in at MLW Superfight in Philly.
Entrances for the main event began. Yamato was announced first. The calling card logo flashed again on the screen and then Hammerstone made his entrance.
MLW World Heavyweight Title Match – Alex Hammerstone (c) vs Yamato
Hammerstone suplexed Yamato early on in the contest. He goes for another one however Yamato slipped out of it and ended up on the apron. Hammerstone then closelined Yamato off the ring apron as we went to a commercial break.

Coming back from the break, we are shown footage during the break showing Yamato going on the offensive on Hammerstone.

After both men went back and forth on offense, Hammerstone suplexed Yamato and hit a powerbomb for a near fall! Yamato had one last flurry of offense that was ended by a big Hammerstone clothesline. Hammerstone then hit the Nightmare Pendulum to score the victory and retain his championship.             Result: Alex Hammerstone (c) defeats Yamato via pinfall to retain the MLW Championship.

After the match a man wearing a gas came out and offered a box to Hammerstone, who wound up taking it. Upon opening the box there was a dead octopus inside. The broadcasters were asking what this could mean and what their message is.
Hammerstone left the box and headed toward the back. Once on stage, Jacob Fatu’s image appeared on the big screen, which stopped Hammerstone. Fatu came out with a mic in hand and played up on the crowd. He said he knows he’s the winner and the belt belongs to him. He also said he knows he is not the only one in Philly that feels this way. With that a “Fatu” chant begins. Fatu then said he would face Hammerstone at Superfight, but then told the crowd to chant “Fatu” if they wanted him to do it now.
Hammerstone hit Fatu with a big boot. Fatu returned to his feet and both started trading punches. Security got involved however Fatu was able to break free and dive off the ring apron onto security but just missed Hammerstone. They were being pulled apart again by security as we went off the air.
A video clip was then shown the hyping of a match between Davey Richards vs John Hennigan next week for the MLW National Openweight Championship.
