Here are the results and recap of an action packed hour of MLW Underground Wrestling on REELZ TV:
MLW opens up with Real1 being helped out to ringside in a wheel chair. They go to clip of Mance Warner hitting Real1 with his car. And then later getting bailed out by his buddies. Joe Dombrowski & Matt Striker are on commentary.
Dombrowski states how Mance Warner against Ricky Shane Page was suppose to open show. Real1 grabs the mic and cuts promo on Microman and Mance Warner. Real1 said if anyone messes with him from now on, he’s calling the cops. As Real1 is still talking, Mance Warner comes out to interrupt and starts talking to Real1. He tells him how he wants to fight.
With that intro for Ricky Shane Page starts on screen. Page comes out and fight starts outside the ring before making its way into the ring. Real1 joins the announce team at ringside.
Hardcore Match: Mance Warner vs Rickey Shane Page
RSP takes control of the match with chair shots early and draws blood on Mance first. RSP cuts turnbuckle and exposes steel. RSP then goes for Elbow drop and misses. He goes for another and misses again. Mance changes momentum with some slaps to RSP’s chest and elbow to his head as we go to a break.
Back from the break, Mance is outside the ring and throwing chairs into the ring, as RSP is down. Mance hits RSP with kendo stick and throws garbage can into ring. Mance then brings 2 industrial thick boards into ring. During the match Dombrowski promotes the contract signing for title match next week between Fatu and Hammerstone. As well as hypes up tonight’s main event for the tag team titles.
Mance does neck breaker to RSP onto the chair and then spears him through table for 2 count. RSP comes back and throws Mance through a different table set up for a near fall. Crowd chants “this is awesome.” The match reminds me of back in CZW days, when these two would battle it out and have matches like this!
Page stacks chairs as Mance take a piece of the broken table and hits RSP on his head. Then Mance hits him with a chair to the back. RSP comes back and runs Mance into exposed corner. Both are now on top rope. Mance does suplex onto the chairs set up in ring but gets a two count. Both trade shots and clotheslines. The gas masked henchmen, who have been at ringside, set up table outside the ring. Both wrestlers are outside on the ring apron and Mance does a DDT to RSP through the table on outside of ring.
As Mance gets RSP in the ring, Real1 gets up from his wheel chair and hits Mance with crutches as the crowd boos. RSP grabs Mance and completes a choke slam for the three count.
Results: Rickey Shane Page defeats Mance Warner via pinfall.
Dombrowski hypes up the contract signing for Hammerstone vs Fatu tonight. We go to a clip of EJ attacking Lance from behind a few weeks ago. We are then shown the brawl between both The Samoan Swat Team and Hustle & Power last week. This leads us into Dombrowski advertising the main event tonight.
We then go to Taya Valkyrie, John Hennigan, and Sam Adonis filming Billie Starkz doing a photo shoot in the back and making fun of her. Hennigan said how Billie makes him sick. Billie points at the title on Valkyrie’s shoulder and said respectfully, I want the gold! After some verbal attacks back and forth between Billie and the three, Taya says she feels generous so she’ll give Starkz a shot. Valkyrie finished by saying trick or treat bitch!
Back to arena we go and Cesar Duran comes out with one of his masked henchmen. He says he’s bringing a new world middleweight champion. La Estrella is introduced and comes to ring. Lince Dorado is introduced next. We go to break before match begins.
MLW Middleweight World Championship: Lince Dorado (c) vs. La Estrella
The match starts with both competitors feeling each other out, showcasing some basic Lucha libre moves. Estrella does a twisted tobay through middle rope onto Dorado. Back in the ring, Estrella controls the action. Dorado comes back with a suplex and then hits springboard stunner for a two count. Out on ring apron Dorado does a hurricanrana from the top turnbuckle onto Estrella to the floor.
Now back in the ring again, the crowd claps as Lince takes control of the action. He does moonsault from bottom rope and then middle rope. He attempts one from the top rope but Estrella gets his feet up in time.
In the corner Estella performs a makeshift suplex, a missile drop kick from the top rope, and then poison rana for a near fall. Up to the top rope Estrella goes again but gets caught. Lince performs a super hurricanrana. Cesar Duran, who is at ringside, pulls Estrella’s leg under bottom rope to break up pinfall count. Microman comes from under the ring out and takes out the henchmen. Microman keeps Duran at bay with a Singapore cane. Lince hits a power bomb and then shooting star press from the top rope for three count.
Results: Lince Dorado defeats La Estrella via pinfall to retain his title.
Alex king cuts promo on Davey Boy Smith Jr and says in two weeks he will throw him from pillar to pillar and post to post. Picture and picture shows brawl from two weeks ago between BFC and The New Bulldogs. Match is hyped by Dombrowski for Alex Kane vs Davey Boy Smith Jr in two weeks. Taya Valkyrie (c) vs Billie Starkz for the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship match is advertised for next week. As well as the MLW World Championship match, Hammerstone (c) vs Fatu. We are told the contract signing for that title match is coming up next, after the commercial break.
We come back from break and get an advertisement for Betonline.com, along with replay from the Hardcore Match early on between RSP & Mance Warner. We go to the top of ramp with CEO Court Bauer standing next to a table and MLW championship. Fatu is introduced first, chants of “Fatu” come from the crowd. Next, the champion Alex Hammerstone is introduced, and fans now chant “Hammer.”
Both sign the contract and Bauer said it’s official. As he is speaking, the calling card attackers logo flashes across the screen, with a clip of Hammerstone holding the dead octopus he was given by them a few weeks back. Hammerstone then accuses Bauer of not wanting him as champion! Hammerstone said he don’t care who Jacob’s family is….with that Fatu goes after Hammerstone and they both start brawling. Officials come out to break them up. The match next week is promoted again by the announce team.
The MLW Tag Team Title match is announced coming up next. They go into the audience and show Lance Anoai’s family. To the back we go and Cesar Duran is kidnapped by his own masked henchmen.
Tim Barr announces the main event. The Samoan Swat Team of Lance Anoa’i & Juicy Finau are introduced first, however are attacked from behind by the champions, Hustle & Power (Chris Tankman & EJ Nduka). They battle outside the ring going back and forth. Tankman hits Juicy with a chair to the back and Lance is thrown into guard rail by EJ.
Juicy and Tankman both take a seat on chairs and start striking each other back and forth. EJ is hitting Lance with chair on other side of ring. EJ performs a summersault swanton onto Juicy. Lance does a flip from in the ring, over the top rope and onto both EJ and Tankman. Lance gets EJ in the ring and match begins.
MLW Tag Team Championship Match: Hustle & Power (c) vs. Samoan SWAT Team
Table is set up in the corner by Lance. EJ catches Lance coming towards him and completes a spine buster onto the table for a two count. We go to commercial break.
Back from break, Lance is being worked over by Tankman. Lance flips over Tankman from corner and makes tag to Juicy. Juicy gets EJ and Tankman together in corner and hits splash. Both fall into corner and Juicy hits hip squeeze to Tankman, however EJ got out of the way. Juicy tried to pick up both men to do a Samoan drop but is not successful. EJ and Tankman both throw Juicy into the ropes but he counters doing a cross body on both of them.
Champs are down and roll outside ring. Juicy does a suicide dive through the middle rope onto both EJ & Tankman. Juicy rolls Tankman in the ring and Lance goes to top rope for a huge Polynesian plunge splash on Tankman for a near fall! Matt Striker is routing for Lance and tells him “come on kid” while the action continues.
Juicy goes to the top rope and gets tossed by EJ. Juicy rolls to the outside. It’s both Tankman & EJ in the ring working on Lance. EJ holds up and spins Lance while Tankman hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Champs are stunned that Lance kicked out! Tankman gets pulled out of the ring and thrown into guard rail by Juicy. In the ring, EJ has powder in his hand but Lance kicks the powder back in his face. Lance hits a super kick, Juicy hits a Samoan drop, and then Lance hits another Polynesian plunge splash from the top rope. Ref counts 1-2-3. We have new tag team champions!
Results: Samoan SWAT Team defeats Hustle & Power via pinfall to become new champions.
Jacob Fatu comes down with Lance’s father Samu, and his wife Melissa. We are shown in replay the closing moments of the match. Back in the ring, the ring is filed with family members celebrating.
Joe Dombrowski closes by saying “in the ring, you can see the true depth of what the Samoan dynasty stands for,” as they go off the air.
