Here is the recap and takeaways for Create A Pro Wrestling Dreamland USA from the sold out Knights Of Columbus in Lynbrook, NY. The event took place on 3/19/2023 and streamed on TWITCH.TV/MAJORPODNETWORK.

It was an action packed night of wrestling. There were many great matches and some storylines that came out of this event as well!

1.) Aaron Rourke vs. The Sweeper

This was a fun opening match. Both worked the crowd well. Rourke being an obnoxious heel and The Sweeper being a great underdog and sympathetic babyface. The match went back and forth with action.

Result: Aaron Rourke submits The Sweeper.

2.) Even Stevens vs. Adrenaline Express

EJ came out serenading everyone singing “I Want It That Way.” The crowd backed him up and was singing with him. There were a bunch of high spots in this match. As well as a scary moment when VSK caught his face on the ring post as he was attempting to jump over the top rope onto Steve Somerset on the outside. Luckily VSK bounced back quickly and hit a beautiful standing Spanish Fly. These teams had very good chemistry. In the end Adrenaline Express was too much for Even Stevens. VSK pinned Stephen Azure to get the win.

Results: VSK from Adrenaline Express pins Stephen Azure from Even Stevens.

3.) B3CCA vs. Paris Van Dale

This was a short match, but was good while it lasted. Both women had their moments in the match. But it was B3cca who came out victorious.

Results – B3CCA pins Paris Van Dale.

4.) Brian Myers vs. JGeorge

This was a good wrestling match between the two. The tail end of the match was very entertaining. Brian Myers was out of the ring and JGeorge brought him over to where the Myers family were sitting. JGeorge was taunting them, calling their father and husband a loser. Myers fought back and slammed JGeorge’s head on the guard rail. Myers held JGeorge up with his hands behind his back, while his daughters chopped and kicked him low. Even Mrs Myers got into the act by slapping him. Myers gets JGeroge back in the ring and hits a spear, along with a clothesline for the three count.

Result: Brian Myers pins JGeorge.

5.) CAP TV Championship:                           Bobby Orlando (c) vs. Jack Tomlinson vs Dante Drago

This match was a handicap match as expected for most of the match with the tag team partners working together. That is until Tomlinson had the pinfall on Orlando and Drago interrupted the pin.

The two were able to get back on the same page temporarily, but eventually started fighting when Tomlinson attempted a roll up pin on Drago. The two continued to fight each other outside the ring. Orlando did a flip from ring apron onto both of them outside the ring. He gets Drago in the ring and does a Bobby Cutter to get the 3 count.

After the match Orlando left and it appeared that Tomlinson and Drago might start fighting again in the ring. The crowd was looking for it, but instead they smiled and hugged it out before leaving the ring.

Result: Bobby Orlando pins Dante Drago to retain his title.

6.) Tommy Dreamer & Midlife Express vs. Liam Davis & Birds of the Sun

Match started off with Kevin Tibbs from Midlife Express and Leo Sparrow from Birds of the Sun. Tommy Dreamer did have some moments in the match. The crowd was definitely into whenever he performed a move, chanting “you still got it!” He asked CPA to get the tables, however there were no tables under the ring, just a door. Tommy set up the door in the corner, and eventually was the one who planted Sparrow through it for the three count.

Result: Tommy Dreamer pins Leo Sparrow to pick up the win for his team.

After the match Adrenaline Express came out and started attacking the Tag Team Champions Midlife Express. They held up the gold signaling that they were going to be coming for it, as the crowd boos.

Announcement was made before going into intermission that the legend Raven and the AEW World Champion MJF will be appearing at the next CAP event! Create A Pro Wrestling’s Homecoming will take place on May 13th from Melville, NY.

7.)Mayhem Medal: Kip Stevens (c) vs. Pat Fitzpatrick vs. Jay Klang vs. Nick Robles vs. Sebastian Amor

This match was action packed and fun to watch! Sebastian Amor did an awesome flip from the top rope onto all 4 other competitors outside the ring. The ending was original as well. “Evil” Kip Stevens was hanging upside down in the corner. Fitzpatrick and Robles were also down on the mat in the same corner. “Dr Cool” Jay Klang did a coast to coast drop kick on all 3 in the corner! As Amor was coming in the ring from the outside, Klang grabbed his ankle and had him in an ankle lock. While this was going on, Stevens flip over down onto Robles who was laid out from the drop kick. The ref saw this and counted to three before Klang can get over there to break it up. Great match with so much going on!

Results: Kip Stevens (c) pins Nick Robles.

8.) Gabby Forza & Zuleyka vs. Sazzy Boatright & Nat Castle

Another great match that received “this is awesome chants” from the crowd frequently. Both teams went back and forth and had their moments in the match.

The standout part for me in the match was the power of Gabby Forza (Gnomie)! At one point she had Boatright on her shoulders and then caught Castle in the air as well. While holding both of them she did a backdrop! The ending came when Gnomie had Castle on her shoulders and Zuleyka preformed a cutter on her for the three count.

Result: Zuleyka pins Nat Castle to pick up the win for her team.

9.) 2 Out Of 3 Falls: Bronson vs. TJ Crawford

This was the hardest hitting match of the night! Two big guys just battling it out and throwing everything at each other. TJ picked up the first fall and Bronson picked up the second. After Crawford did a German suplex to Bronson on the ring apron, both men were down and could not get into the ring before the ten count. Third fall was a double count out ending the match in a draw.

Results: Bronson Vs TJ Crawford ends in a draw.

The battle continued after the match was over. Bronson grabbed a chair while Crawford was down in the ring. He was getting ready to hit him when Paris Van Dale came to the ring and covered Crawford. Bronson picked up Dale and was going to power slam her but she fought out of it, throwing Bronson into Crawford who hit him in the sternum with a chair. Then a shot on his back as well. Bronson high tailed out of there. Crawford grabbed a mic and said he’s tired of this. He challenged him on May 13th to a Raven Rules Street Fight where anything goes.

10.) Interim CAP Championship Match: Vargas (c) vs. Phil Cardigan

There was clearly a big size advantage for Vargas. While Cardigan had his moments using his speed and quickness, it was mainly Vargas who controlled the match. The bigger storyline is what transpired after the match.

CAP World Champion Bryce Donovan came down t the ring and attempted to help Cardigan pull off the upset. In the end Vargas was too much and would complete a power bomb to get the three count and retain his title.

Result: Vargas pins Phil Cardigan to retain his title.

After the match Bryce Donovan grabs the mic and cuts a promo calling Vargas a scared little bitch. Then Donovan said he’s back and there should be only one champion. He challenges Vargas on May 13th Homecoming.

This was a great card with a lot of matches and action. Homecoming on May 13th is shaping up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest nights in CAP history!
