The crowd is clearly pumped and ready for this match. They begin cheering for both men. Fatu comes out right away firing shots at Hammerstone, before throwing him outside of the ring. Fatu goes to the outside and continues to control the action. Fatu rams Hammerstone’s head on the guard rail and then on the ring apron before throwing him back in the ring. Fatu enters the ring however Hammerstone is ready for him and clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside. Hammerstone then jumps over top rope and dives onto Fatu outside. Now Hammerstone is in control.

Hammerstone returns the favor by hitting Fatu’s head on the guard rail. He then shows his strength by lifting Fatu up and slamming him on the outside ring apron. Fatu is rolled back into the ring. Hammerstone is on the apron, however before getting into ring, Fatu body checks him and sends him flying into guard rail outside. Back and forth we go!

Fatu comes back to the outside and continues to pumble Hammerstone and throws him into guard rail. They go back into the ring, as the crowd chants “Fatu”. Fatu lays a huge slap on Hammerstone and  continues beating him. The crowd continues to cheer for Fatu. Fatu is in complete control. He whips Hammerstone into the corner as we go to our first commercial break.

Back from the break, Fatu comes running at Hammerstone who changes momentum with a suplex to Fatu into the corner turnbuckle. He hits Fatu with a huge running boot, a belly to belly suplex, and then northern lights for a near fall. The two had a stare down in the ring before shaking each other’s hand and embracing. The crowd continues to stand and applaud in appreciation of what they just saw. This was a tremendous match that I had the privilege to see live. Two of the best wrestlers in the industry putting on a classic! The match truly lived up to the hype!

Fatu exits and Hammerstone poses in the ring when the light goes out and Calling Card Attackers logo came across the screen. Raven, RSP, and Akira all come down with their hive and swarm the ring to attack Hammerstone. While he tried fighting back there were too many of them. RSP hits Hammerstone with a crowbar. They then duct tape Hammerstone’s hands to the top rope and Akira hits him with a running knee. Raven leaves a calling card in Hammerstone’s mouth as we darken out and go to a commercial break.

A commercial is shown promoting War Chamber on April 6th in NYC. From there we come back to replay of the incredible title match we just saw. Dombrowski makes it a point to say how Fatu was the only one to ever kick out of Hammerstone’s Nightmare Pendulum. The replay continues showing what happened after the match with Hammerstone & the Calling Card Attackers. We come back to ringside where Hammerstone is being helped out to the back by officials. Camera then goes to the back showing Billie Starkz stretching and getting ready for her title match. Dombrowski then hypes the Women’s title match that is still to come, when champion Taya Valkyrie takes on Billie Starkz.

We go to ramp area by the stage where Sam Leterna introduces Mance Warner. We are shown clips from last week’s hardcore match between Warner & Ricky Shane Page. Then clips from previous weeks are shown of Warner hitting Real1 with his car. And then being bailed out by his buddies, the Second Gear Crew. Mance starts off by saying how everyone knows he’s a little crazy and then introduces his family. The Second Gear Crew comes out, consisting of Matthew Justice & 1 Called Manders. Both Manders & Justice cut a promo on what brings them here to MLW. Warner says at the end of the day they are going to beat all those asses and drink all the light beers. Calling Card Attackers logo comes across the screen briefly and lights flicker. Mance says he don’t know what that was all about, but closes by saying they are going to drink light beers and beat the hell out of some folks.

We then get the big news that has been promoted since the start of the broadcast. A package comes on promoting Battle Riot V and that it is coming to Reelz TV.

We come back into the arena and clip is shown from last year’s Battle Riot IV event. We are shown how Real1 disrespected Microman by punting him out of the ring to eliminate him. Back to the ramp area, Sam Leterna introduces Mister Saint Laurent. MSL said he is sick how Microman has been treated by Real1 and challenges him to go one on one with Microman in Philly. MSL plays up on the crowd asking if they want to see that match? Crowd is loud and vocal, and clearly want to see the match. That match between the two are promoted for next week on Underground.

We go to clip from last week showing Cesar Duran being taken by his own masked henchmen. We then go to the backstage where Taya Valkyrie and John Hennigan are with CEO Court Bauer, looking for answers to the whereabouts of Cesar Duran. They are arguing and Bauer tells Valkyrie she is in breech of her contract if she doesn’t go to the ring for her match.

Mike Valvo announced the next match for the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship. Billie Starkz is introduced first. Next, champion Taya Valkyrie is introduced. She comes out with John Hennigan and Sam Adonis who is holding up poster asking if anyone knows the whereabouts of Cesar Duran call 1-900-LUCHA.

MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship Match: Taya Valkyrie (c) vs. Billie Starkz

Crowd starts off cheering for Starkz. Valkyrie tries to use her strength but Starkz’s speed is too much for her in the early going. Valkyrie rolls to the outside and Starkz does a dive through the bottom rope three times in a row onto Valkyrie & Hennigan. As Starkz goes to top rope, the ref is distracted by Valkyrie and Hennigan pushes Starkz off the top rope into the ring. Valkyrie takes control of the match as we go to commercial break.

Back from break, Valkyrie is beating up on Starkz outside the ring and taunting the crowd. Back in the ring Valkyrie is in complete control. She tries to continue to put away the challenger, however Starkz will not stay down. In the corner Starkz creates some distance and hits Valkyrie with an Inseguri. She lands some more strikes and a suplex on the champion for a two count. Starkz goes for a gory bomb but could not get all of it. Hennigan is up on the ring apron. Starkz is arguing with him. Valkyrie comes from behind but Starkz moves out of the way. Valkyire stops herself and avoids hitting Hennigan. Instead, they share a moment on the ring apron and a kiss. With that Starkz comes with the boot but Valkyrie moves out of the way. The kick hits Hennigan and knocks him off the ring apron. Valkyrie gains control again and lands a knee to Starkz for a two count. She then performs a stall for  near count. Valkyrie is frustrated as the crowd cheers for Billie. Valkyrie goes for her finisher but Starkz rolls her up for a two count. They both pop up and Starkz hits Valkyrie with a spinning heel kick. Starkz goes for a clothesline but Valkyrie ducks it and gets Starkz up in the Road to Vallhara for the three count.

Results: Taya Valkyrie (c) defeats Billie Starkz via pinfall.

As Valkyrie is exiting the ring, we get a replay of some moments in the match. Back on the ramp Sam Leterna is there with Valkyire. Valkyrie said she would like to dedicate this match to Cesar Duran. Then proceeds to say if anyone has any info on Durban’s whereabouts please text or call 1-900-LUCHA.
