Here are the results and recap for this week’s MLW Underground Wrestling episode on REELZ TV:

Broadcast starts off with video package showing clips from the fantastic MLW World Heavyweight Championship Match last week between Champion Alex Hammerstone & Jacob Fatu. Then Hammerstone being attacked by The Calling. Package ends showing Hammerstone beaten in the ropes with calling card in his mouth.

From there we go into the intro music for the show and then into the  arena. Announce Team is Joe Dombrowski and Matt Stryker. Clip is shown of brawl between Bomaye Fight Club and Billington Bulldogs with Davey Boy Smith Jr a few weeks back. Dombrowski talks about and promotes the match between Alex Kane and Davey Boy Smith Jr later on in the show.

In the ring is Mister Saint Laurent on the mic. He is hyping up the crowd about the match between Microman and Real1. MSL introduces Microman who comes to the ring. A clip is shown from earlier showing Mance Warner talking about Real1. He talks about how he’s going to beat him down after he has these light beers. With that Microman shows up and Warner gives him a beer. He entrusts Microman with a kendo stick saying we are in the land of extreme in the ECW arena. He told Microman to come visit him anytime.

Back in the arena, Microman is in the ring and MSL joins the commentary team. Real1 comes down to the ring with a mic in his hand. He cuts a promo on Microman in the ring.He tells him how he is going to put a hurtin on him like an Eagles jersey because everyone knows the eagles suck! He then says Microman showers in a sink. He calls him a floater and a toilet climber.

Real1 vs Microman

The match starts, crowd is chanting for Microman. Real1 hits Microman with drop kick. He then comes to announce table and pulls MSL off his chair and takes the chair, he starts taunting him. He sets up the chair in between the middle ropes in the corner of the ring. We go to our first commercial break.

Back from the break Real1 is still outside the ring mouthing off to MSL. He calls MSL an overweight vegan. Real1 grabs mic and has MSL who is standing on the ring apron now, hold the mic for him as Real1 picks up Microman. He holds him like Simba from the Lion King and starts chanting like in the movie. Microman starts kicking Real1’s head to break free and get down. Real1 runs at Microman but gets tripped up by him and hits his head as he falls into the chair in the corner. Mance Warner comes down and throws a kendo stick in the ring as he distracts the ref. Microman hits Real1 with the stick, rolls him over, and stands on him for the three count. The crowd starts cheering and going crazy.

Result: Microman defeats Real1 via pinfall.

We are shown replay of the closing stages of the match we just saw. Officials bring a stretcher to the ring for Real 1, while Microman, Mancer, and MSL celebrate at ringside with some light beers. Real1 gets carried out in a stretcher. I always enjoy when Real1 has a mic in his hand. You never know what he’s going to say, but you know it will be entertaining! He is only one of a few wrestlers, that would be able to keep this storyline going and pull this type of match off.

We get a replay again showing clips of the match between Alex Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu last week. As well as Hammerstone being attacked by The Calling. Hammerstone’s music plays and he comes out to the ramp. Crowd is cheering “Hammer”! You can tell this segment was not taped with an audience and the audience was dubbed in. Hammmerstone cuts a promo on The Calling. He said attacking him is the stupidest thing they could have done. He then proceeds to challenge them to War Chamber. Dombrowski said the challenge has been laid out and they will continue to follow this story.

We then get a video package on the history of the Opera Cup and shown how it ended up in Alex Kane’s hands. We go to the back where Davey Boy Smith Jr is getting ready for his match with Kane. He cuts a promo on him as calling card logo flashed across to screen.

We get a video package of Akria with the rest of The Calling. Then back to the arena, Akira is introduced for the next match. A gas masked henchman has a table with all deathmatch weapons that appears to have blood on them. He takes a sickle weapon to the ring with him. His opponent who is already in the ring is introduced, his name is Mike Law.

Akira vs Mike Law

Akira enters the ring with the sickle weapon in hand. Law charges at Akira and Akira hits him. After landing some knees to Law we go to commercial break. We get a commercial for War Chamber and TV Taping on April 6th in NYC.

Back from break Mike Law is in the ropes and Akira is punishing him. Akira sticks sickle into side of his mouth. He performs the death penalty on Law for a three count in what was a squash match. We are shown replay of the ending of the match. Back in the ring, Akira leaves a calling card in Law’s mouth. Dombrowski questions is this the same fate that  MLW Alex Hammerstone will face?

Result: Akira defeats Mike Law via pinfall.

Commercial is played advertising Battle Riot V on April 25th on Reelz. We are also introduced to some of the entrants in the Riot match.

We go to the back where Alex Kane is with the rest of the Bomaye Fight Club. He’s cutting a promo on Smith Jr while elbowing a punching bag. He says he’s going to destroy Smith Jr and put his ashes in the Opera Cup. Then he’s coming for the World Title.

We are then showed a clip from a few weeks ago showing Cesar Duran being kidnapped by his own masked henchman. A segment is done with Taya Valkyrie and John Hennigan speaking to the people watching. They plead that anyone with any knowledge of the whereabouts of Duran please call 1-900-Lucha. There is a big reward of so much pesos for his return. It was a funny and great little segment.

From this segment we go to into a package on Lio Rush. He is advertised as being on next week’s episode. We get another package of 1 Called Sanders who cuts a promo introducing himself and telling us what we can expect from him.

Dombrowski speaks about how things have been heating up between the Second Gear Crew and The Calling. Replay is shown with clips from hardcore match between RSP and Mance Warner a few weeks back. Then it’s announced RSP will meet 1 Called Manders in a hardcore match next week on Underground.

We go to the ring where announcer Tim Barr does the introductions for our main event. Alex Kane is introduced first. He comes down with Myron Reed and Mr Thomas. Replay is shown of match earlier on between Microman & Real1. Reed joins the announce team as we go to commercial break.

Back from the break Davey Boy Smith Jr is introduced, as he comes out with the Billington Bulldogs. Dombrowski said they have to cut to the back where something is happening. A camera catches RSP and Akira from The Calling attacking EJ Nduka, leaving him laid out.

Main Event: Alex Kane vs Davey Boy Smith Jr

Match starts off with both competitors feeling each other out. They trade hip lock take overs and head scissors. Kane completes a suicide dive through second rope to Smith on the outside of ring. King has taken control of match. He slams Smith Jr into guard rail and a German suplex onto the floor outside. Then completes body splash to Smith Jr on ring apron. Chants are mixed from the crowd for both superstars.

In the ring, Kane is still controlling the action, suplexing Smith around the ring. Then Kane hits a German suplex but Smith pops up. Smith then hits one on Kane. They go back and forth delivering German suplexes to each other three times, until both are laying out in the ring. We go to the final commercial break of the night.

We come back and both men are back up hitting each other with shots. Dombrowski makes an announcement that The Calling accepted Hammerstone’s challenge for War Chamber. More details next week.

Back to the ring, Smith has taken control of the action. He completes a neck breaker and multiple leg drops to Kane. Smith then hits a big leg drop from the top rope but Kane kicks out at 2. Crowd is chanting “Boyame”! Smith hits a bulldog powerslam on Kane. Mr Thomas comes up on the ring apron to distract the ref, while Reed passes Kane a bottle with some substance in it. Kane splashed it in Smith’s face and hits the Mark of Kane  suplex for the 3 count. This was an excellent wrestling match by both superstars. Both showcased their strength and wrestling ability! The feud is far from over. The storyline will for definitely continue from here.

Result: Alex Kane defeats Davey Boy Smith Jr via pinfall.

Replay is shown of closing moments of the match and how Alex Kane won. The Boyame Fight Club exits along with the Opera Cup. Sam Laterna comes out and meets them at the top of the ramp. She asks Kane what was in the bottle? Kane said he didn’t know what she was talking about? He said he hit Smith with one of many suplexes and pinned him 1-2-3. Laterna continues to insist everyone saw the bottle. Kane then says it’s that Bomaye juice!

We end the night with Second Gear Crew drinking beers at a bar area and are joined by Hammerstone. They start taking about The Calling and War Chamber. Mance Warner suggests they team up for War Chamber. Hammerstone said it sounds like we got a nice team forming here and they should work on their victory poses. Mancer tells Justice & 1 Called Manders to take the beers and they’ll all leave because he’s not paying for them. The episode concludes with Dombrowski hyping up the War Chamber match between Hammerstone & Second Gear Crew against The Calling.
