Hello and welcome to my review of SovPro Warpath. This really was a great show from start to end. I really enjoyed this show and I will just warn that there are results in this.

Leon Slater vs Kenny Williams
The youngest in charge Leon Slater took on the scum of the earth Kenny Williams. This was a great match to kick off the show full of high flying fast paced action. This match was for the commonwealth championship qualifier which was one of three matches taking place across the evening. Kenny Williams tried to use the ropes to his advantage to help him pick up the win but he got caught. Leon Slater picked up the win here advancing to commonwealth championship match taking place on Sunday 11th June at Boiling Point.

Joe Wade vs Kelly Sixx
This was also a commonwealth championship qualifier match. Kelly Sixx is part of The Killective who had a very dominate evening accompanied him to the ring. LA Taylor and Bullit. This was quite an intense back and forth match and my first time seeing both Joe Wade and Kelly wrestle in person. I really enjoyed both their styles of wrestling and can’t wait to see more of what they do in SOVPRO. Ultimately Kelly Sixx picked up the win when LA Taylor distracted the referee allowing Bullit to get in the ring and attack Joe Wade allowing Kelly to pin himfor the three count. He advanced into the championship match.

Aurora Teves vs Ivy
This was the match I was most looking forward to Aurora was returning to SOVPRO and Ivy was making her debut. This was another great back and forth with Ivy complaining throughout the match and the crowds booing her further only increased her anger. I would definitely like to see Aurora and Ivy go head to head again at some point soon. Aurora picked up the win.

After the match the Easter Bunny appeared in what Aurora thought was to congratulate her in winning the match but very quickly it was determined that wasn’t the case. The Easter Bunny attacked her and revealed herself to be Lana Austin. Ivy and Lana quickly established themselves as a new tag team in SOVPRO.

The Wright Way vs Banter Bus
The Wright Way come out and try to hold a minutes silence for the loss of Margret Thatcher but that is very quickly interrupted by The Banter Bus. Uncle Ryan came out dressed as Margret Thatcher and the match got underway pretty quickly after The Wright Way attacked them. This was a very fun tag team match and the crowd was loud for it. Both teams quickly established their dominance quite quickly but The Wright Way got the upper hand here after attacking Uncle Ryan and they picked up the win.

LA Taylor (c) vs Lucia Lee
This match was for the SOVPRO Women’s World Championship. LA Taylor was accompanied to the ring by Bullit. LA Taylor quickly took control of this match but Lucia is not someone to back down from a fight especially not when a championship is involved. LA Taylor proved why she is a champion in this match and Lucia gave everything she possibly could into trying to stop her. LA Taylor picked up the win.

After the match LA Taylor and Bullit of the Killective tried to make a statement on Lucia Lee but they were quickly stopped by Joey Hayes and Harley Hudson who quickly made a statement of their own. I can’t wait to see what happens next here.

Man Like Dereiss vs Tallon JR
This was the final commonwealth championship qualifier match and this was definitely a contender for match of the night. You really couldn’t take your eyes off this match. From beginning to the end it was an incredibly fast paced match. This was my first Tallon JR match and I really loved every second of this. Once again the crowd was loud for this match and Dereiss picked up the win to make this a four way match in June.

HT Drake with Rory Coyle vs Alton Thorne
All the rules were thrown out of the book for this one. Rory stayed on the microphone throughout this match which I really enjoyed. This first started out quite a normal match and then the weapons got involved. Some of my favourite weapons in this match involved a stop sign, a kitchen sink a table and a door but there was many other weapons used in this match and it really was a great match. Rory and HT Drake wanted someone to add to their movie casting and they found that someone in the King Freak Alton Thorne. HT Drake picked up the win but Alton Thorne was the latest addition in their castings.

Ian Skinner made his way out to the ring and he was comparing himself to Simon Miller. He said he doesn’t understand the disrespect he receives and kept asking a lot of why questions. Simon Miller’s music hit and out he came and the crowd adored this. Simon challenged him to a match right then and there but what he didn’t realise was that someone was standing behind him. Big T Justice very quickly made himself known and attacked Simon much to the disgust of the fans and then Ian joined in. Will Simon get his revenge?

Nathan Cruz vs Sam Gradwell vs Will Kroos
This main event match was for the number one contender ship for the SOVPRO Heavyweight Championship that Joseph Conners holds. This match was a heavy hitting match from the beginning both Nathan and Sam teaming up multiple times to try and take out Will Kroos. This match had a little bit of everything and I don’t think this triple threat could have gone any better these three heavyweights out everything on the line but ultimately Sam picked up the win and he is next for Joseph Conners!

I hope you enjoyed this review and the results that came with it. I really enjoyed this show and you can now get tickets for Boiling Point at Manchester Academy on SovPro social media.
