This week’s premiere of MLW’s Fusion starts off with Alex Kane’s performance in the Battle Riot V. From entering # 1 to winning the riot. We then go into the song intro for the show.

This episode’s action is coming from Tijuana, Mexico. Announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Christian Cole. Cole talks about dual Women’s title that is on the line for tonight. Main Event announced for tonight as Taya Valkyrie defends both her MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship and her AAA Reina De Reinas Championship against Dalys, La Hiedra, & Sexy Star.

The Announce team said there will be an update on Jacob Fatu after The Calling beat down. As well as an Alex Kane Press Conference coming up. Crazy Frank comes to the ring. Next is Juicy Finau.

We go into video package of Valkyrie, Hennigan, and Adonis celebrating being back in Mexico. They are still looking for Cesar Duran

Back to the arena, Damian 666 rounds out the triple threat opening match.

 

Triple Threat Hardcore Match – Juicy Finau vs. Crazy Frank vs. Damian 666:

There was no shortage of weapons used in this match. Weapons varied from a cheese greater, staple gun, poked skewers, panes of glass, tv’s and even a car hood! Every man bled and the crowd was into it. Ciclope and Miedo Extremo helped assist Crazy Frank through the match, however ended up being choked slammed by Finau through Panes of Glass set up on chair.

The match ends when Juicy performs a Samoan drop on Frank and then a Moonsault from the middle rope for the three count.

Result: Juicy Finau defeats Crazy Frank & Damian 666

 

We go to a video package showing the history of The Calling from their start, all the way up to the season finale of MLW Underground TV when they attacked Jacob Fatu.

We are given an update on Fatu and are told medical personnel Dr Nelson Sweglar put Fatu on the injured list for a minimum of three weeks. It was announced however, that his MLW Openweight Title Match that never took place, is still in tact. He will challenge John Hennigan or whoever the champion maybe once he is medically cleared.

We get advertisement for Alex Hammerstone vs Alex Kane for MLW World Championship for Never Say Never on July 8th from Philadelphia. We then go to a pre taped interview of MLW Champion Alex Hammerstone in a gym. He talks about his title match in Mexico. As well as his match with Alex Kane at Never Say Never. He cuts a promo on Kane. Lastly Hammerstone is asked his thoughts on The Calling and Jacob Fatu. He wished best of luck to Fatu and states The Calling are going to get what’s coming to them.

There’s a video package of the God Queen, Delmi Exo. We are then shown a backstage Exo backstage where she cuts a promo on Taya Valkyrie. The women’s main event title match is announced as we go to a break.

There is a video package on 1 Called Manders, as he introduces himself and his plans in MLW. Dombrowski hypes John Hennigan, Sam Adonis, and Gringo Loco taking on El Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Clown, and Rey Horus on next week’s episode of Fusion.

Mister Saint Laurent is on a phone call backstage when Second Gear Crew appear. They asked MSL where Microman was? He responded in cold manner. The SGC are drinking beers when Microman pops up and Warner offers Microman a beer.

We get footage from the Alex Kane press conference. He is asked how he feels that more and more people keep chanting Bomaye? He says he feels it in his blood and in his heart because Bomaye is the lifeline of MLW. Alex Kane states he will be the MLW World Champion. And all you will hear from continent to continent are the chants of “Bomaye!” We get another advertisement for Alex Hammerstone vs Alex Kane for Never Say Never on July 8th from Philadelphia.

The Main Event is up next. First introduced is Sexy Star, next is La Hiedra, followed by Dalys. Lastly the champion Taya Valkyrie is introduced.

 

Fatal Four Way Match for The MLW Women’s Featherweight & AAA Reina De Reinas Championships – Taya Valkyrie (c) vs La Hiedra vs Dalys vs Sexy Star:

Each wrestler had moments in this match. Later on towards end of match, Valkyrie and Star ended up in the ring battling alone and traded strikes with each other. Star performed a German suplex into a bridge but got a two count. Then Valkyrie made a comeback with a clothesline for two count.

In the closing moments of the match, Star blocked Valkyrie’s finisher and caught her with a forearm strike. Star then picked up Valkyrie and slammed her to the mat, causing Star to get a near fall. Valkyrie blasted Star with a knee to the face and then performed her Road to Valhalla to get three count to retain her title.

Result: Taya Valkyrie (c) defeated Sexy Star, Dalys, and La Hiedra to retain her MLW Women’s Featherweight and the AAA Reina de Reinas Championships.

 

We close the show with Joe Dombrowski promoting the previously advertised six-man tag match for next week. He was interrupted and a video aired of The Calling. Rickey Shane Page said that Jacob Fatu has been king for far too long. Page then said Fatu would be the first sacrifice. Akira said that Fatu was a false prophet. Raven said “Trust in Raven” many times and then the rest of The Calling joined as we go off the air.
