National Openweight Championship Match: John Hennigan (c) vs Willie Mack

Sam Adonis joins the announce team for commentary on the match. At the beginning of the match during a tie up, Dombrowski comes in with breaking news stating MLW Champion Alex Hammerstone took offense to Alex Kane’s statement. He demanded time to speak and he was granted it.

John Hennigan controls the early going in the match until he smacks Mack in the face. Hennigan realizes what he did and runs outside the ring. He tries to use Taya as a shield to hit Mack with a kick. Instead, Mack catches Hennigan’s leg and completes a suplex to him on the outside as we go to a break.

Back from the break, Mack is in complete control. He takes Hennigan back into the ring. Hennigan turns the tide of the match again by hitting a jaw breaker on Mack with his head. Now Hennigan is back in control. Back and forth we go. Hennigan goes for starship pain but misses it. Both Hennigan and Mack are down as we go to the final break.

Coming back from break, both competitors are still down in the ring. Mack turns it around by hitting Hennigan with a clothesline and then scoop slam. He completes a standing moonsault for a two count. He then hits Hennigan with a running high kick, but the ref gets distracted by Taya Valkyrie who comes onto the ring apron. Mack confronts Valkyrie and as Hennigan tries to hit him with a super kick, Mack moves out of the way and Hennigan kicks Valkyrie instead.

As Hennigan and the ref go outside the ring to check on Taya, Adonis tries to hit Mack with Hennigan’s title. He misses and Mack hits him with a stunner instead. Mack hits Hennigan with a powerbomb into a cover for a near fall. Crowd chants “this is awesome!”

The belt is still in the ring and Hennigan attempts to use it on Mack but misses. Mack goes for a roll up on Hennigan. Hennigan drops the belt in ring. As the ref looks away to throw the belt outside the ring, Valkyrie comes in the ring with her championship and hits Mack from behind. Hennigan pins Mack as the ref turns back around and counts three.
