Two independent wrestling promotions have announced that AEW has pulled talent off their shows for the debut episode of AEW Collision on this upcoming Saturday,  June 17th.

First, Northeast Wrestling has announced their “Six Flags Slam Fest” event taking place at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey has been rescheduled. A number of headliners including The Acclaimed, Billy Gunn, Willow Nightingale and Penta “have either been pulled from the show or told that they are likely to be pulled next week to appear on the AEW event.”

The replacement date of Sunday August 13th has been chosen with The Acclaimed, Billy Gunn and Willow Nightingale all appearing.

Dreamwave Wrestling has also announced changes for their upcoming show. The Dreamwave Alternative Champion Gringo Loco as well as Mike Bennett have been pulled in order to attend the United Center event. They will both appear at Dreamwave’s next events on 8/4 and 8/5 in LaSalle, Illinois.

Originally scheduled as a five way match for the Dreamwave Alternative Championship, a four way will now take place. The winner of El Hijo Del Vikingo vs Laredo Kid vs Arez vs Aramis on Saturday will face Gringo Loco for the Alternative Title on August 4th.

Hartenbower, who was teaming with Mike Bennett, will now either search for another partner or go it alone against The Four Star Heroes.

Dreamwave Wrestling’s “Nothin’ But A Good Time” will stream live on IWTV at 6PM CDT. The event also features Dreamwave Tag Team Champions Wasted Youth, B3CCA, Bobby Orlando, Scotty 2 Hotty, and more!

As of right now there’s no word if anymore talent was pulled from indie wrestling events due to AEW Collision’s debut. Stay tuned to PWPonderings for more news.
