Current Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion Lio Rush has been pulled from GCW’s “My Name Is GCW” event on August 4th.
Rush was originally scheduled to face fellow Impact Wrestling roster member “Speedball” Mike Bailey at the Detroit event, but Game Changer Wrestling announced a replacement match. It will now be Mike Bailey taking on GCW World Champion Blake Christian in a title match. In a follow up tweet GCW tweeted out that the update was due to Lio Rush being out with an injury.
Details regarding Rush’s injury were not given and Rush has not commented publicly on this injury. We wish Lio Rush a speedy recovery.
