On Friday night, November 10th, Chaotic Wrestling held its big event, “Breaking Point.”

The show featured a ton of great moments and matches, including The Unit vs. The Broken Unit in an anything-goes civil war match, Aaron Rourke looking to capture the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship from The Mecca in a strap match, and so much more. Check out the rest of the results and reviews below.

Finals of the Chaotic Wrestling New England Championship Tournament: Che Long vs. Tyree Taylor vs. Landon Hale

Winner: AND NEW Chaotic Wrestling New England Champion, Che Long

The show kicks off with a triple-threat match to crown the new New England Champion. This match also marked the finals of the New England Championship Tournament, and Long and Taylor earned their way to the finals match. Hale, on the other hand, brought himself back into the conversation after being kicked out of the tournament at the beginning by Chase Del Monte.

At the beginning of this match, Taylor and Hale went at it with Che Long hanging out on the outside. Long didn’t want to get in the way of Taylor, and let him be. Long finally got involved and sent Taylor to the outside after attacking him from behind. All three men brought the fight to each other and showed their best offense in this tremendous opening match. Ultimately, Che Long would roll up Landon Hale for the three-count to win the New England Championship.

After the match, Mortar makes his return and takes out Che Long with a brutal F-5 and quickly makes his presence felt. He grabs a mic and tells Long that he has something that belongs to him and issues the challenge for December 1st for the newly won Chaotic Wrestling New England Championship.

Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships: God’s Greatest Creations (c) vs. Shot Through The Heart

Winners: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Champions, God’s Greatest Creations

Shot Through The Heart make their way down to the ring first, and get a great ovation. TJ Crawford and Love, Doug continue to show why they are one of the most beloved tag teams on the independent wrestling scene. On the other hand, God’s Greatest Creations, consisting of Brother Steven and Decon Kayos, don’t get quite the same reception. They make their entrance with Jariel Rivera, who is wheeled down in a wheelchair and has been out with an injury for quite some time.

The match itself was a great back-and-forth match. Kayos and Steven did a great job of separating Love, Doug from Crawford. But, Crawford would tag himself in and take out both members of God’s Greatest Creations. After more great back-and-forth wrestling, ultimately it would be Kayos who pins Crawford after hitting his finisher for the win. Rivera held Love, Doug from the outside to stop him from breaking up the pin.

Rick Smokes vs. Seabass Finn

Winner: Ricky Smokes

The next match features two of the brightest young stars Chaotic has to offer. Ricky Smokes has been a cornerstone of Chaotic for the past few years now. Smokes doesn’t hit his signature pose as he walks down to the ring, and shows a potential change of mentality. Seabass Finn is making his return to Chaotic since graduating from the New Japan dojo. He is very over with the crowd and continues to show why he is truly professional wrestling’s favorite fisherman.

The match itself features Smokes trying to get the best of Finn in the early going, to no avail. Finn sends Smokes to the outside and Smokes uses this as a chance to regroup. After Finn tries to make his way to the top turnbuckle, Smokes lands a phenomenal dropkick to send him packing and gain control of the matchup. Ultimately, Smokes lands the Smoke Stack on Finn to pick up the victory in an absolutely incredible match. Seabass Finn is an incredible talent, and it’s time more fans know about Ricky Smokes.

After the match, in an interview with Rich Palladino, Finn says something has to change.

Civil War: The Unit vs. The Broken Unit

Winners: The Unit

This is one of the most anticipated matches of the night. The Unit, consisting of JT Dunn, Ace Romero, Brad Hollister, and Shannon LeVangie, takes on The Broken Unit, consisting of Chase Del Monte, Danny Miles, Trigga the OG, and Alisha Edwards in an anything-goes civil war match. In a rivalry that began a few months ago, JT Dunn was turned on by fellow Unit members, Danny Miles and Trigga The OG, and it all came to a head on this night in a match that had similar rules to “Lethal Lockdown.”

JT Dunn and Danny Miles started the match for their respective teams. Trigga The OG makes his way down to the ring next and the two take the fight to Dunn for the next 90 seconds until Brad Hollister makes his way into the ring and makes the save. Alisha Edwards and Ace Romero were the next two competitors to make their way down to the ring. Ace takes out Miles and OG with a trash can.

Alisha Edwards gets into the face of Romero and Romero attempts to hit her with a package piledriver, but it gets broken up by Del Monte who is the next competitor to join the fray. Dunn, Romero, and Hollister wait for Del Monte in the ring, but Del Monte runs away. Dunn chases him and the two brawl in the crowd. This leads to everyone joining in the crowd and the final competitor, Shannon LeVangine, flying off the balcony to take out everyone.

With everyone officially in the match, all hell breaks loose. Danny Miles spears Hollister through the door to eliminate him making it 4-3 in favor of The Broken Unit. Ace Romero hits a slam on Alisha Edwards onto tacks to eliminate her making it 3-3. OG sends Romero crashing from the apron to ringside through two doors, and Miles pins him to eliminate him making it 3-2 in favor of The Broken Unit.

LeVangie lands a poisonrana from the top rope on OG to eliminate him and make the match now 2-2. Miles hits a powerslam on LeVangie and breaks out toothpicks and sticks them into the head of LeVangie. He hits his knees to the face eliminating LeVangie making the match now 2-on-1.

Dunn lands a “Death By Elbow” on Del Monte to eliminate him, making the match now a one-on-one match between the two men who started it. After Mike Verna returns to help JT Dunn and take out Chase Del Monte and Danny Miles, ultimately, it would be a tombstone piledriver by JT Dunn on Miles onto a chair that would lead to The Unit being victorious. This match was truly chaotic and was the match of the night.

Brad Cashew vs. The “Big Cheese” Tony Navar

Winner: Brad Cashew

Tony Navar makes his way down to the ring as soon as we get back from intermission and cuts a promo. Brad Cashew makes his way down to the ring and says he’s going to get back on track and get back to his winning ways. Cashew controls pretty much all of the match and continues to show why he is as dominant as ever before. Cashew is victorious after hitting a spinning kick on the “Big Cheese.” Cashew looks to try to regain the gold he lost and tonight was a great first step in getting back on track.

Chaotic Wrestling Pan-Optic Championship: Paris Van Dale (c) vs. Sean Keegan

Winner: AND STILL Chaotic Wrestling Pan-Optic Champion, Paris Van Dale

Sean Keegan makes his way down to the ring first to a great ovation from the crowd. Paris Van Dale makes her way out next, not getting quite the same reception, but nonetheless is always ready to go. The match starts with a test of strength between the two, but Paris Van Dale gains the upper hand and controls a good portion of the match.

However, Keegan fights back into the match and lands a big spinning back suplex on Van Dale for a very close two-count. Ultimately, makes Keegan tap out to a new submission hold finishing move from her arsenal. Van Dale continues her dominant reign as the Pan-Optic Champion.

Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Strap match: The Mecca (c) vs. Aaron Rourke

Winner: AND NEW Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Aaron Rourke

In the main event of another incredible Chaotic Wrestling show, the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship is on the line as The Mecca defends his title against Aaron Rourke in a strap match. Rourke makes his entrance first, followed by The Mecca. The fans were firmly behind Rourke as they chanted “NEW CHAMP!” in the process of the introductions.

The match begins with the referee setting up the straps. After a feeling out process of sorts, Mecca sends crashing to the floor back first to gain the upper hand. Mecca does a good job of staying on top of Rourke and not allowing him to gain any momentum when he attempts to fight back. Rourke accidentally superkicks the referee, and afterwards has the match won, but the referee is still knocked out.

Mecca hits Rourke with powder in the eyes and hits his finishing move on Rourke, but the referee is still knocked out and can’t make the three-count. Just as the ref gets to his feet, Mecca hits him over the back with the steel chair and lays out Rourke as well the same way. Ultimately, after Mecca attempts to get himself disqualified, Rourke lands a punt to the head of Mecca, hog-ties him, and locks in his submission, the “Devil’s Snare,” forcing Mecca to tap.

By Scott Mitchell

Hello, my name is Scott Mitchell and I have been a professional wrestling fan since 2005. Like everyone the first promotion I really fell in love with is the WWE. However, as I got older, I got largely into the greatness known as independent wrestling. Independent wrestling has turned into one of my biggest passions. Please enjoy!
