This week’s episode of Fusion starts with Alex Kane running outside with the BFC. He cuts a promo on Jacob Fatu as we are shown video clips of the build-up that led to this match, headlining MLW Fightland on November 18th. From there, we go into the intro music for the show.

In the arena, Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker are on commentary. Dombrowski said there was breaking news to start the show. Clips are shown of last week’s MLW Tag Team Championship Table Match between Champions The Calling (RSP & Akira) and Second Gear Crew (1 Called Manders & Matthew Justice).

Dombrowski states after last week’s match, MLW officials made an immediate rematch for MLW Fightland for the Tag Team Championship in a ladder match. Contract signing for the MLW World Championship Match at Fightland between Kane and Fatu is advertised for tonight, and a statement from Don King.

From there, we go to the ring and the introductions for the opening match. Introduced first is Griffin McCoy to the boos of the crowd. Next, Tracy Williams is introduced and comes down to the ring.

Tracy Williams vs. Griffin McCoy

The crowd started showing their support for Williams early by chanting “hot sauce” at the beginning of the match. Both wrestlers feel each other out, trading traditional grappling and wrestling holds.

The match was a good match that went back and forth. Both superstars had their moments. In the match’s closing moments, Williams picked McCoy up for a piledriver; however, McCoy’s foot hit the ref’s face while being lifted. Williams went to check on the ref, and McCoy hit Williams with a low blow the ref didn’t see. McCoy then hits the sunset kick to pick up the three count and win in his MLW debut.

Result: Griffin McCoy defeats Tracy Williams

Next, we get a video recap showing clips from last week’s episode of Fusion, ending with Jacob Fatu stealing Matt Cardona’s new car.

We go to the World Titan Federation and MSL’s office. MSL cuts a promo on Jacob Fatu and then states the new WTF logo will be unveiled. In a funny line, MSL said pro wrestling was invented because comic books got too expensive for virgins. He wants to create sports entertainment. MSL reveals the new WTF logo on the screen as we go into a commercial break.

Back from the break, Dombrowski talks about a special Thanksgiving episode of MLW Fusion on Thanksgiving night. Introductions for the next match begin. It’s a match in the Women’s division. Riley Krowe is introduced first, followed by MLW Featherweight Champion Janai Kai with Salina de la Renta. We are shown footage of Janai Kai defeating Delmi Exo to win the MLW Featherweight Championship at MLW Slaughterhouse.

Non-Title Match: MLW Featherweight Champion Janai Kai (w/Salina de la Renta) vs. Riley Krowe

Kai hits Krowe with a massive kick in the corner to start the match. Kai pounced on Krown, throwing punches, causing the ref to stop the match in a quick squash match.

Result: Janai Kai defeats Riley Krowe

Kai and Salina make their way up the stage where Sam Laterna is waiting to interview Kai. Salina takes the mic and dismisses Laterna. Salina introduces Janai Kai. Kai takes the microphone and stares into the camera, saying, “Kick Demon.”

A Calling video airs with Rickey Shane Page cutting a promo with Cannonball. Akira was in the background shooting RSP a look and then looked away.

Back in the arena on stage, Dombrowski and Striker spoke about Akira not seeming to buy into what RSP was saying. Page and Akira came out. RSP gets in Dombrowski’s face and tells him to keep his name out of his mouth. 1 Called Manders and Matthew Justice come out and attack RPS and Akira.

Sam Laterna interviews Rocky Romero. He spoke about teaming with Barbaro Cavernario to take on Mascara Dorada and Ichiban at MLW Fightland on November 18th.

Next, Don King is at his desk in Florida and says Bomaye is for the people. He promoted Alex Kane and said he would show in his title match why he is the best champion in MLW history. King closed by yelling, “Bomaye.”

A Tiara James video airs, and Rickey Shane Page vs. Jimmy Lloyd for the MLW National Openweight Championship is announced for MLW One Shot on December 7th at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, NY.

Tom Lawlor cuts a promo and states he’s sick of the Bomaye Fight Club running their mouths. He said the World Titan Federation will feast on the Bomaye Fight Club on the Thanksgiving Day episode of MLW Fusion.

Dombrowski promotes Alex Kane & Mr. Thomas from BFC vs. Matt Cardona & Tom Lawlor from WTF, also scheduled for the Thanksgiving edition of Fusion. Introductions for the main event match take place. The Mane Event makes their entrance as we go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Mr. Thomas, O’Shay Edwards, and J Boujii from the BFC make their entrance.

Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas & O’Shay Edwards w/J Boujii) vs. Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon)

Mane Event had some moments in this match. They were able to hit their “Ring of Fire” signature move on Edwards and Thomas outside the ring.

Ultimately, Edwards and Thomas were too much for Mane Event. Mr. Thomas hits a powerbomb on Black to pick up the pinfall and the win.

Result: Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas & O’Shay Edwards) defeats The Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon)

We go to Mance Warner, who is talking strategy with 1 Called Manders about his and Matthew Justice’s title match for the Tag Team Titles while drawing it up on a chalkboard. RSP and Akira show up, and a fight begins as we go to an ad for Betonline.ag.

Next, Court Bauer talks about Fightland being traditionally one of MLW’s biggest shows of the year. Bauer introduces Jacob Fatu and the MLW World Champion, Alex Kane, next. Kane asked how Fatu could show up to a press conference barefoot. Fatu tips over the table as Bauer tries to get between both men.

Matt Cardona shows up and tries to come in between Kane and Fatu as well. Kane shoves Cardona into Fatu. Fatu then pushes Cardona into Kane. Kane accidentally hits Fatu when he swings at Cardona, but Cardona ducks. Kane and Fatu start fighting but are pulled apart by security and other personnel while MSL laughs.

Dombrowski blames Cardona for sabotaging the contract signing. The brawl ensued again while trying to be broken up as we closed out the show.
