We start this go home episode of Fusion before One-Shot with a video package showing the events leading up to the Alex Kane vs Matt Cardona title match at the MLW/WTF One-Shot live event. From there, Cardona and Steph de Lander cut a promo about how they are the King and Queen of NY. Lander then says she’s the Queen of wrestling. Cardona said he will have his one-shot moment in front of his family in NYC, and hold the MLW title up when he wins it because he is the champion now….then….forever!

From there, we go into the intro music for the show. Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker are on commentary. Introductions for the opening contest take place. It is a Thumbtack Pit of Death Match. Introduced first is Cannonball from The Calling. Next, Jimmy Lloyd is introduced as the crowd chants, “Jimmy Fu*king Lloyd.”

 

Thumbtack Pit Of Death Match: Jimmy Lloyd vs. Cannonball

The match begins with Cannonball tossing around Lloyd and taking control of the match. Cannonball takes a paper and does paper cuts on Lloyd’s fingers and tongue. The crowd chants, “You sick fu*k.” Cannonball takes Lloyd’s head and puts it in the bed of thumbtacks outside the ring. He then puts tacks in Lloyd’s mouth and hits him.

Lloyd’s head is busted open, but Lloyd comes back with a neckbreaker and then uses a chair on Cannonball. Back to the outside, Lloyd puts Cannonball’s hand into thumbtacks. Then he hits a dive from the ring through the ropes onto Cannonball and Talon on the outside.

Lloyd takes a barbed wire bat and continues his assault. He hits Cannonball in the back as they make their way up the ramp. They fight to the back area, where Rickey Shane Page helps Cannonball gang up on Lloyd. Akira comes to Lloyd’s rescue and starts fighting with RSP as we go to a commercial.

Back from the break, both wrestlers are back in the arena. Cannonball and Lloyd are going back and forth. Lloyd is in the ring and hits Cannonball on the ring apron with a chair shot and then another one, sending Cannonball through the bed of thumbtacks and table to pick up the victory.

Result: Jimmy Lloyd defeats Cannonball

 

Dombrowski talks about Tony Deppen, and we are shown Deppen taking out Kevin Blackwood and injuring him. Then we get a replay from last week of a masked person with Griffin McCoy helping TJ Crawford beat Nolo Kitano. Dombrowski announces the return of Tony Deppen in two weeks in a match against Nolo Kitano.

Next, we are shown a replay of Mance Warner losing to Matt Cardona at MLW Fightland. And then Warner, saying goodbye last week on Fusion. We go to 1 Called Manders, who is in a cornfield talking about missing Mance Warner. A masked Warner comes into view with a case of Coors Light beers. He tells Manders he’s heard a lot about him and then introduces himself as Masked Good Brother III. He said he knows Justice isn’t there but asks Manders if there is room for him as a new member of the SGC. Manders said yes as they both opened a beer. Good Brother III then tells Manders to show off the MLW World Tag Team Title, saying that’s the gold baby and that the SGC is the best tag team in the world. They start leaving the cornfield with Good Brother III saying let’s go, hit the road, and cause some chaos.

Back in the arena, the next match is about to start. Midas Black introduces himself and Jay Lyon (The Mane Event). Lucky 13 & Austin Luke are introduced next. Followed by Marcus Matthers and Dyln McKay of Wasted Youth to complete the field for this Tornado Tag Team Match.

 

Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match: Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon) vs. Wasted Youth (Marcus Matthers & Dyln McKay) vs. Lucky 13 & Austin Luke

Mane Event takes control of the match early, followed by Wasted Youth. Once Wasted Youth got the better of Mane Event, Lucky 13 and Austin Luke attacked them from behind. Back and forth we go with all three teams having moments. Lyon from Mane Event hits the Ring Of Fire of both teams outside the ring. 

In the match’s closing moments, McKay hits a Shooting Star Press onto Lucky 13. He then hits a flip over the top rope onto Mane Event & Austin on the outside of the ring. Matthers hits a 450 splash on Lucky 13 to pick up the three-count and win.

Results: Wasted Youth (Marcus Matthers & Dyln McKay) defeats Mane Event and Lucky 13 & Austin Luke

 

Dombrowski interviews Wasted Youth at ringside. McKay said they’ve been looking for a place to call home. Somewhere, they don’t feel like the outcasts. And they believe they found it in MLW. Matthers said they were looking for the hottest Tag Team Division, and MLW has it. And now that they’re here, it’s gotten a whole lot hotter!

We get a video package of Alex Hammerstone with Dombrowski going through the history of his title reign and then losing to Alex Kane at MLW Never Say Never. Hammerstone disappeared until late October, when he requested his MLW release on social media. And now Hammerstone has sold out, joining the WTF. Dombrowski said his joining the WTF has fans and everyone asking why.

They cut to a pre-taped interview showing MSL with Hammerstone, Lawlor, and Bishop of the World Titan Federation. Each one cuts a promo on the Bomaye Fight Club. Dombrowski promotes tonight’s main event between the WTF and BFC in a six-man tag match as we go to a commercial break.

Replay clips are shown of the Lucha Libre Match at MLW Fightland. Then Mascara Dorada challenging Rocky Romero for the MLW Middleweight & CMLL World Historic Welterweight Championship, with Romero accepting the match at One-Shot on December 7th. From there, we go to Salena de la Renta’s office as she introduces Rocky Romero, who cuts a promo on Dorada.

Back in the arena, introductions for the next match take place. It is a Featherweight Match. Zayda Steel is introduced first, followed by Gia Scott.

 

Zayda Steel vs. Gia Scott

Both competitors try to take control of the match. As Scott lifts Steel, Steel rakes the eyes of Scott to take control of the match. After Scott makes a comeback, Steel rolls up Scott in the corner and puts her legs on the ropes for momentum to pick up the three count. 

Result: Zayda Steel defeats Gia Scott

 

Dombrowski comes into the ring to interview Steel; however, he is interrupted by MSL. He offers Steel a contract to join and be the first female in the WTF. Steel takes the mic and puts down the crowd and Philadelphia. MSL tells Steel he knows a lot of women don’t like being on top, but he can tell she likes to be on top. Steel agrees and signs the contract to become the newest member of the WTF.

Next, Alex Kane is in front of the BetOnline.ag backdrop and cuts a promo on Matt Cardona and Steph de Lander. He said he was going to take Cardona to Suplex Island. And then he’s going to take SDL to Ho Island so she can do some landscaping! And MSL, he’s going to take Fat Joe to Fat Camp. Kane closes by saying everyone will get this work, and that’s on Bomaye!

Dombrowski promotes the Main Event between BFC and WTF coming up next after the commercial break. During the break, we get a commercial for MLW/WTF One-Shot on December 7th-as well as a commercial promoting Satoshi Kojima returning at One-Shot.

Back from the break, Tom Lawlor is now in front of the BetOnline.ag backdrop, cutting a promo on the BFC. He says after they beat them, they will send the BFC packing back to the treasure troll Don King. He then cuts a promo on Satoshi Kojima, stating he will send him back East in a pine box at One-Shot. 

Dombrowski promotes One-Shot on December 7th and the MLW National Openweight Championship Match between Champion Rickey Shane Page and Challenger Jimmy Lloyd. From there, Dombrowski states that more has been added to the big card. We go to MSL at the WTF Headquarters, where he announces the first-ever Body By Saint Laurent Body Building Contest. He also said a legitimate American Idol will sing America the Beautiful at One-Shot. Dombrowski promotes the rest of the One-Shot card.

In the arena, the introductions for the Main Event begin. First introduced are Alex Hammerstone, Tom Lawlor, & Josh Bishop of the WTF with Mister Saint Laurent. MSL joins the commentary team for this match. Next, Mr. Thomas, O’Shay Edwards, & J Boujii of the BFC are introduced. They are walked down with the BFC Fight Train.

 

Six-Man Tag Match: World Titan Federation (Alex Hammerstone, Tom Lawlor, & Josh Bishop) vs. Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas, O’Shay Edwards, & J Boujii)

The match starts with all six men battling each other, with The BFC getting the better of the WTF. Lawlor comes back with a Sharp Shooter on J Boujji. The WTF takes control of the match using quick tags in and out, keeping Boujji on their side of the ring.

Boujji hits a DDT on Lawlor to create some space and makes a tag to Mr. Thomas. Hammerstone and O’Shay are battling outside of the ring. Mr. Thomas hits a beautiful flip-over-the-top rope on all three WTF members outside the ring as we go to the final commercial break. 

We return from the break, Hammerstone hits a huge suplex on Mr. Thomas. Bishop and Lawlor hit a double choke slam on J Boujji. Outside the ring, Edwards and Bishop battle it out while Hammerstone and Boujji are in the ring. Hammerstone hits the Nightmare Pendulum on Boujji. Tom Lawlor, still the legal man with Boujji, comes in and pins him to get the three-count.

Result: World Titan Federation (Alex Hammerstone, Tom Lawlor, & Josh Bishop) defeats Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas, O’Shay Edwards, & J Boujii)

 

After the match, the WTF continued to beat down the BFC. Alex Kane comes out to help his BFC brothers, but Matt Cardona attacks him from behind at the top of the ramp. They make their way down to the ring. The WTF and BFC continue to fight it out, with the BFC eventually clearing out the ring of WTF members, except for Cardona. Kane hits a suplex on Cardona, who rolls out of the ring.

We close out the show with the WTF being escorted up the ramp by officials while Alex Kane and the rest of the BFC are standing tall in the ring.
