On Saturday, January 20th, Limitless Wrestling held its big event, “End of Beginning.” The event streamed live on IWTV.

The show featured many great moments and wrestling, including a tremendous main event that saw MSP implode, as Aiden Aggro took on Danger Kid in an unsanctioned match. We also saw Channing Thomas defend his Limitless Wrestling World Championship against JT Dunn and Dezmond Cole, Hammerstone took on TJ Crawford, and so much more.

TJ Crawford vs. Hammerstone

Winner: TJ Crawford

The show starts with one of the biggest matches of the night. TJ Crawford makes his entrance down to the ring first, to the cheers of the Limitless faithful. Hammerstone then makes his entrance and is greeted with a similar reaction. The match starts with a collar-elbow tie-up and a feeling-out process. The two men then move into a test of strength, which Crawford uses his speed to get out of. Crawford lands a big shoulder block on Hammerstone to not much avail, and Hammerstone lands one of his own sending Crawford crashing to the mat.

Hammerstone catches Crawford out of mid-air and lands a big fallaway slam onto the “Silver Sniper,” to gain control of the match. After a while, Crawford hits a cutter on Hammerstone, to buy himself some time. Hammerstone hits his big finishing move, but Crawford rolls to the outside and saves himself from a pin. Ultimately, Crawford counters Hammerstone’s finisher with a small package pinfall to win the match. This was a tremendous match to start the show and both men crushed it.

Ace Romero vs. Hazard

Winner: Ace Romero

Hazard interrupts Rich Palladino’s announcement of a free agent making their return to the next Limitless show. Hazard cuts a promo dissing Limitless Wrestling, Hammerstone, and TJ Crawford. He gets interrupted by Ace Romero’s music and the big man comes down to the ring. Romero is one of the hottest stars at Limitless, and the fans remind him of that every time he walks into the ring. To mounds and mounds of cheers, Romero makes his way into the ring and the match is official.

The match starts with Romero quickly taking the fight to Hazard. Hazard rolls outside to try and outsmart Romero, but this doesn’t seem to work, as Romero remains in control. Then, Hazard lands a big move on Romero to gain control of the match. However, this doesn’t last long as Romero quickly fights back and lands his finishing move on Hazard to win the match. It’s always amazing seeing Romero do what he does best. He is a true fan favorite in every sense of the word, and Hazard is one of the most hated, top heels at Limitless.

After the match, Romero puts the Limitless Wrestling Champion on notice. He says he wants to fight the best and he’s willing to start at the bottom and work his way up. Romero calls out Sami Callihan for the February 24th Limitless Wrestling show. This marks Callihan’s first return to Limitless Wrestling since 2018.

Ava Everett and Ricky Smokes vs. Gabby Forza and Aaron Rourke

Winner: Gabby Forza and Aaron Rourke

Ricky Smokes makes his way down to the ring to the boos of everyone in the building. Smokes grabs a mic, but he’s barely able to speak because of the boos that rain down on him. Smokes calls out Ava Everett for stabbing her teammates in the back. Everett quickly makes her way down to the ring, accompanied by the other half of the “Cosmic Cuties,” LSG. Everett reminds Smokes that he’s only there because of the Y2Kutie herself. Smokes and LSG have a staredown. Gabby Forza makes her way down to the ring, and it looks like we are getting some mixed tag team action.

Aaron Rourke charges the ring and goes right after Ricky Smokes. Smokes inadvertently knocks out Smokes and Rourke feeds Everett to Forza who’s waiting in the ring. Forza lands a facebuster on Everett and the two show excellent signs of teamwork in the early going. “Gnomeberg” deadlifts Everett and sends her packing. Forza and Rourke control the ring in the early going of this match, as Forza sends Rourke to the outside via a press slam.

However, thanks to a distraction, Everett gets the better of Forza and attacks her from behind. Ava controls a good portion of this match, but Forza lands a suplex, buying her time. As Everett goes to tag in Smokes, Smokes leaves but Rourke stops him in his tracks. Rourke sends Smokes back into the ring and attacks him. Everett gets involved, letting Rourke he’s only there because of her. Rourke lands a split-legged moonsault on Everett and calls for Forza to tag in.

Forza measures Everett, as Ava once again goes to tag Smokes, but he leaves again. Forza lands a jackhammer on Everett to win the match for her team. This was an excellent match and everyone involved shined. Forza and Rourke make an excellent team and it should be fun to see them team up again in the future.

Rourke grabs a mic and cuts an amazing promo. He gives props to Forza, and then tells Everett off, addresses LSG, and says he couldn’t see him in her shadow. He then calls Everett a “b*tch.” In addition, Rourke also talks about how much he had to sacrifice to get a spotlight between two other people. Rourke says he no longer shares his spotlight and now has his own. Smokes attacks Rourke from behind with a chair and quickly leaves the ring. The segment ends with Rourke needing to be helped to the back.

Limitless Wrestling World Championship match: Channing Thomas (c) vs. Dezmond Cole vs. JT Dunn

Winner: AND STILL Limitless Wrestling World Champion, Channing Thomas

This is the final match before intermission, for the top prize in the world for Limitless Wrestling. Channing Thomas defends his Limitless Wrestling World Championship in a triple threat match against two very game challengers, Dezmond Cole, and JT Dunn. As Sidney Bakabella was introducing Thomas, Dunn landed a big elbow on him, thus getting rid of Thomas’s way out. The match starts hot as Cole and Dunn try to gain the upper hand on one another.

Cole seemingly is the one to gain the upper hand, but Channing Thomas pulls his leg from the outside leading to Dunn hitting Cole with the big boot. Thomas attacks Dunn from behind and is the only man standing in the ring. This match is about as hectic and hard-hitting as it comes. This was an incredible triple-threat match for the top prize at Limitless. Thomas gets the best of Dunn in the corner. He goes for a big superplex from the top, however, Cole makes his way back into the ring and takes Thomas’s spot.

Cole hits a massive high-flying move taking out both Dunn and Thomas. The three men stand in the middle of the ring and land punches on one another. Ultimately, Cole hits a big kick on Dunn accidentally, and this leads to a schoolboy roll-up from Thomas for just a two-count. Dunn hits a double cutter on both men, also looking for the victory, but to no avail as Thomas kicks out. Thomas calls for an elbow of his own, but Cole tries to get involved, this leads to Dunn once again landing an elbow to Thomas knocking him out. Cole lands his finishing move on Dunn and pins him for just a two-count.

After more tremendous back-and-forth wrestling, Dunn lands a big elbow on Thomas, but Bakabella makes the save. Dunn comes out and chases Bakabella, leaving Thomas to rest up. Ultimately, Thomas lands a piledriver on Dunn and pins him to retain his Limitless Wrestling World Championship. Cole and Dunn have words after the match, before finally shaking hands, teasing another singles match between the two sometime down the line.

When the show returns from intermission, Channing Thomas and Sidney Bakabella are selling merch in the ring. Rip Byson makes his way back from Japan and challenges Thomas to a match for the title, right here tonight. However, Bakabella declines but ultimately gives in for the next show on February 24th, and the match is made official.

Waves and Curls vs. Charles Mason and Richard Holliday

Winner: Charles Mason and Richard Holliday

Waves and Curls make their way down to the ring first, to the admiration of the fans. The “Root of All Evil” Charles Mason makes his way down to the ring and grabs a mic where he degrades the Limitless Wrestling faithful. He says that above all else, he has gotten much richer since the last time he was at Limitless. Richard Holliday’s music hits and Holliday is Mason’s tag team partner tonight.

Holliday and Mason do a great job at controlling the match against Jaylen Brandyn. However, Brandyn is eventually able to tag in the big man of Waves and Curls, Traevon Jordan. Jordan takes out both Mason and Holliday and changes the momentum of the match. After a great back-and-forth match, ultimately it would be Mason who defeats Brandyn with a piledriver to win the match for his team.

After the match, Mason tries to choke out Brandyn, but Jordan makes the save and the heels make their way to the back. Waves and Curls are always an absolute pleasure to watch, and Charles Mason and Richard Holliday could go on a massive run in Limitless. The tag team division is very hot right now.

“The End of MSP” Unsanctioned match: Aiden Aggro vs. Danger Kid

The main event of the show is perhaps the biggest implosion Limitless Wrestling has ever seen. MSP completely changed the vibes, culture, and everything about Limitless Wrestling when they made their debut there. However, all good things come to an end, and tonight we witnessed the end of one of the greatest teams in indie wrestling history, MSP, in an unsanctioned match. The fans flip off Aggro as he makes his way down to the ring. Danger Kid makes his way down to the ring and the fans cheer like crazy.

The emotion on Danger Kid’s face tells the whole story and is the way all the fans feel as well. This is a match where if Danger Kid loses, he will never wrestle at Limitless Wrestling again. The match begins with Aggro telling Danger Kid to lie down so they can go home early, at first, Danger Kid listens, but he rolls up Aggro in a small package pin for just a two-count. Danger Kid and Aggro exchange punches, with Danger Kid gaining the upper hand early.

He then lands a clothesline on Aggro, who was on the apron, causing Aggro to fall to the floor. Danger Kid looks for a high-risk move, but Aggro counters and gains control of the match. Aggro grabs a chair from the crowd and sets it up at ringside. Aggro places Danger Kid upright on the chair and goes for a suicide dive, but Danger Kid moves and Aggro goes crashing to the floor. This buys Danger Kid some time and allows him to gain his bearings again.

Danger Kid lands a suicide dive of his own on Aggro and the momentum of the match is now swinging his way. However, this doesn’t last because Aggro lands a chair shot on Danger Kid when he makes his way to the top rope. Aggro takes out the MSP bouey and lands a shot on the leg of Danger Kid. After more back-and-forth action, Danger Kid grabs the MSP flag and chokes out Aggro with it. However, Aggro hangs Danger Kid up over the top rope and changes the momentum of the match, yet again.

Aggro wraps the flag around Danger Kid’s face and pours water on him, trying to suffocate his former tag team partner. Later in the match, Aggro uses handcuffs and cuffs Danger Kid’s ear to the middle rope and continues his onslaught. After some more great back-and-forth action, Aggro would look for a truce, but a low blow from Danger Kid followed by his finishing move, would shut the truce down almost immediately.

Danger Kid then cuts the string holding onto the ring apron and exposes the wood of the ring. He calls for his finishing move on the wood, but Aggro thumps him in the eye, and the two exchange punches. Danger Kid lands a big running knee for just a two-count. Ultimately, Danger Kid would go for a high-risk move but came down on the wood crashing and burning. Aggro lands a shining wizard on Danger Kid and pins him for just a two-count. Ultimately, Aggro chokes out Danger Kid to win the match. This could be an early match of the year candidate.

Wow. One word to describe this main event is wow. This match was an amazing end of an era for MSP. Aiden Aggro and Danger Kid may never team up again, but they put on one of the greatest singles matches in Limitless Wrestling history. This is a must-watch match for any fan and a 45-minute instant classic of a main event. This show from top-to-bottom was insane and a must-watch.
