MLW Reload opens with a Sessions By Saint Laurent segment; his guest was MLW World Champion Alex Kane. MSL talks about how he discovered Kane and got him signed to MLW in 2021, which Kane regretfully acknowledged.

MSL said he has a bigger vision for Alex Kane, and that is to have the biggest merger in history by combining WTF with the BFC. The crowd was heavily booing the idea. Kane said, “But you smell like ass and popcorn.” MSL responds I do like popcorn.

MSL takes out a contract from his jumpsuit, which he gives to Kane. Kane disgustingly wipes his hands as he looks at the contract. He throws the pen at MSL and rips the contract as the crowd chants, “Bomaye!”

Kane says, “This was built for the people, by the people! And that’s on Bomaye!”

We go into the intro music for the show.

Back in the arena, Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker are on commentary. They go over the stacked card for tonight. Introductions begin for our opening match.

Zayda Steel (w/Saint Laurent) vs. Notorious Mimi

Steel tries to get a quick roll-up to start the match, which Mimi kicks out of. There was back-and-forth action throughout the match.

Later in the match, Steel hits a high knee in the corner on Mimi. Steel rolls up Mimi and tries to use the bottom ring rope as leverage to gain the pinfall. The ref saw this and broke up the count.

The ref and Steel argue as Mimi makes a comeback. After initially missing, she hits a Heaven Set Back Kick. She pins Steel but uses Steel’s trunks to gain leverage for the pinfall. The ref sees this and breaks up the count at two, this time for Mimi cheating.

Mimi goes to the top turnbuckle, but Steel shakes the rope, causing Mimi to fall across it. Steel hits her I’m Prettier finisher to pick up the three count and the win.

Result: Zayda Steel defeats The Notorious Mimi via pinfall.

After the match, Dombrowski attempts to interview Zayda Steel. Saint Laurent interrupts him and says he should give a better and proper introduction. Dombrowski introduces Steel again the way MSL requested, too.

Steel takes the mic and talks about Court Bauer, giving his favorites a title shot. What would be best for business would be her having gold. MSL took the mic and said he does business with Salina de la Renta, and she doesn’t need gold right now. They’ll talk about it in the back and not in front of all these idiots referring to the fans.

Zayda Steel and MSL now show up as well. Steel takes the mic and cuts a good promo calling Delmi the queen of cringe, Kai an ugly witch, and Salina a blue-haired bitch. MSL tries to calm everyone down but to no avail. A brawl ensues with everyone. Officials run down to break it up. As Delmi leaves, the masked Azteca duo offers her a key and a cell phone.
