On Friday, October 10th, House of Glory returned to the NYC Arena in New York, NY, for it’s big event, “With Glory Comes Pride.” The event streamed live on TrillerTV+ and had a number of big matches. One of the biggest saw the Hardy Boyz put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Mane Event, who put their HOG World Tag Team Championships on the line in a “title vs. title” match.
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy entered tonight’s contest fresh off their WWE NXT Tag Team Championship win on Tuesday night. They have gone around collecting belts, and now possesses the TNA World Tag Team Champions, the NXT Tag Team Championships, the 4th Rope Tag Team Championships, and after tonight’s contest with The Mane Event, they now hold the HOG World Tag Team Championships.
This was a very fun back-and-forth contest, which saw The Mane Event’s Midas Black & Jay Lyon truly hold their own with one of the greatest tag teams in professional wrestling history. In the end, the Hardyz would add to their collection, making their bags much heavier, with two new pieces of hardware.
It remains to be seen where we go from here, but one thing we know for sure is The Hardy Boyz sit atop the tag team division in House of Glory Wrestling.
