Opening Contest: Aaron Solo vs. Gabe Roka
Gabe Roka is from West Coast’s Iron Sharpens Iron series, where Aaron Solo acted as a judge. Solo works a wristlock and Roka shoulderblocks him down. Back kick sends Solo to the floor, so Roka delivers a PK from the apron but misses a stomp allowing Solo to drive him into the side of the apron. Aaron aggressively hammers away back inside, then delivers a snap suplex. Solo chokes him across the middle rope and delivers a doublestomp for two. Roka fights back after getting paintbrushed getting an enzuigiri in the corner and a backbreaker. Another high kick lands and a German suplex with a bridge gets two. Rolling kick misses and Solo quickly hits a cradle DDT for the win. Another win in West Coast for Solo, and Roka looked solid. **½

Match Two: West Coast Pro Golden Gate Championship – Alan Angels (c) vs. G-Sharpe vs. Andrew Cass
I’ve always liked when companies show the wrestlers last few moments backstage as they walk to the entrance way for big matches. Alan Angels won the title from Andrew Cass in January. They try a series of quick pins and then Cass and G-Sharpe team up on Angels sending him to the floor. Cass gets a standing moonsault on Sharpe and a springboard clothesline on a returning Angels. Sharpe comes back with an atomic drop and axe kick on Cass, and looks for an STF, then gets a Northern Lights suplex on Angels for two. The champion hits a DDT and a trio of suplexes. Cass fights back, dropkicking Sharpe out to the floor and follows with a springboard moonsault onto both opponents. Shining Wizard on Sharpe gets two back in the ring. G-Sharpe catches a kick and delivers an enzuigiri plus a German suplex with a bridge for two. Angels returns sending Cass to outside and connects with a lope suicida. Crossbody on Sharpe inside gets two which he transitions to a single-leg crab. Cass breaks that up with a cutter. Sharpe thanks him for that with Sliced Bread and promptly walks into a Halo Strike from the champion. Angels Wings attempt to Cass is countered and we head to the top rope. G-Sharpe busts that up but winds up receiving an Angels Wings, and Cass immediately follows with a Corona Street Splash (450) to pin Sharpe and win the title back. ***¼

Match Three: Royce Isaacs vs. Stephen Wolf
Stephen Wolf uses the quickness advantage to avoid the power of Royce Isaacs. Royce finally catches him and chops Wolf down. Long delayed vertical suplex, followed by a gutwrench suplex for two. Wolf rakes the eyes to gain the advantage and then doublestomp the left arm of Isaacs. Armbar applied but a flying crossbody is caught, and Royce gets a powerslam. Isaacs follows with a corner clothesline and a DVD for two. He looks for a tombstone which is avoided, and Wolf gets a kick and a standing shooting star press for two. Wolf heads up but is caught by Isaacs into a spinning tombstone to finish this one. This was fun power guy/speed guy matchup. **¾

Match Four: Gary Jay vs. Jiah Jewell
Man some of these entrance themes are bangers on this show. They trade chops and Jiah Jewell grabs a Gator Roll. Gary Jay catches him with a knee and tope suicida. Jewell quickly recovers getting his own tope suicida. More strikes exchanged ending with a superkick from Jewell. Jiah tries a springboard move but gets punched in the face for two. Jay’s chops are super loud as he lays in some more. Jewell catches him with a pump kick and back suplex. Later Gator hits for two. Jay catches him with a forearm and flatliner for a two count. Forearm to the back of the head puts Jewell outside, but Jiah catches him and drills him with Later Gator on the floor then covers him back inside for the win. Crowd was pretty into this one. **½

Match Five: Alpha Zo vs. Bret The Threat
Alpha Zo attacks during Bret’s entrance as this is a grudge match between the two. Into the ring, Zo gets some corner forearms and a T-bone suplex for a one count. Bret catches him with a forearm then goes after the left leg of Zo, banging it on the apron. The leg work continues for a bit including a dragonscrew legwhip. Zo escapes a leglock and attempts a comeback but is thrown down by Bret. Kneestrike gets two for the Threat. Stretch Muffler is reversed by Zo to a Labell Lock, and quickly re-countered by Bret to a single-leg crab. Zo powers out sending Bret to the floor, and hobbles after him. Bret applies an Octopus hold outside which Zo turns into an apron bomb. Zo tries to drop a hammer fist but eats a superkick. Belly to back suplex by Bret but Zo is back up, dropping Bret with a knee. Again though, Bret gets a half and half suplex. Zo again gets back up hitting a lariat and Tour Of The Islands to win. Zo looked good here, but I was expecting more of a brawling, fast-action style match and Bret wound up doing lots of submissions instead. **

Match Six: Billie Starkz vs. Miko Alana
Billie Starkz shows off her height advantage so Miko Alana takes her down for a quick rollup for two. Swinging neckbreaker and a basement clothesline gets another two. Corner cannonball misses and Billie gets a lope suicida. Starkz rams Alana into the ringpost, then rains down elbows. In the corner Starkz stomps away aggressively and then chokes Alana on the middle rope. PK to the back and a rear chinlock applied. Kick to the head gets two. Kneestrike knocks Alana down again but Starkz misses a Swanton Bomb. Miko with some short-arm clotheslines and a backbreaker. Big splash and a Falcon Arrow gets two. They fight over a backslide leading to Billie getting a DDT for two. Billie gets a strike combo and hits the Swanton Bomb this time, but Miko catches her in a crucifix pin for the upset win. Thought this was good from start to finish, with no slow spots at all. ***
Starkz attacks post-match and Johnnie Robbie comes out to make the save.

Match Seven: Adrian Quest vs. Lee Moriarty
Lee Moriarty is still the ROH Pure Champion. Technical exchange over armbars and wristlocks until Adrian Quest gets a rana and dropkick. Moriarty goes back to the arm and gets a legsweep to take over. Snap suplex with a bridge gets two. Lee snaps the neck across the top rope and lands a drive-by kick which gets two. Up top where Quest gets a hurricanrana followed by a superkick. Tope suicida connects and now Quest gets an armbar. He charges right into a Flatliner into the turnbuckle. Moriarty puts on the Border City Stretch which Adrian escapes and gets a German and La Majestral cradle for two. Code Red gets another two. Quest hits an enzuigiri but Moriarty catches him with a European Clutch pin to escape with the win. Solid technical battle here. ***

Match Eight: West Coast Pro Women’s Championship – Johnnie Robbie (c) vs. Laynie Luck
Laynie Luck is the WWE ID Women’s Champion, but that title is not on the line here. Luck takes her town with a wristlock so Johnnie Robbie returns the favor with a waistlock takedown. Robbie with and armdrag and a backslide for one. Hurricanrana followed by a small package for two. Luck trips up the champion and hits a splash for two. Laynie shrugs off some kicks and goes to work in the corner. Snap suplex into a Dragon Sleeper as Luck holds on tight. Twisting suplex gets two. Robbie hits a back elbow and a series of kicks, then a Fisherman’s Suplex with a bridge for two. Facewash in the corner but Luck manages a Stunner and a doublestomp to retake the offensive. Shining Wizard gets two. Luck can’t get a DVD as Robbie gets a short clothesline. They both pump kick each other and Robbie gets a superkick. Laynie gets a high kick but can’t convert. The champion gets a swinging belly to belly suplex, hits a kamigoye, then nails the TYK for the victory to keep the Women’s Title. More good stuff here. ***¼

Match Nine: West Coast Pro Tag Team Championship – The Crush Boys (c) vs. Danny Orion & Shimbashi
Danny Orion and Shimbashi ambush the champions right after ring intros, but the champs hit stereo ranas and dropkicks. The bell rings with the heels regaining control but Starboy Charlie gets a rana and tag to Titus Alexander. He runs wild until Alan Angels walks out to the ramp and hops on commentary. Orion gets a quebrada for two. Shimbashi with a Wasteland slam and elbowdrop for two. Alexander fights back but cannot make the tag to Charlie. Inverted suplex from Orion gets two. Snap suplex from Shimbashi and Orion tunes up the band, so Titus superkicks him and hits a DVD/neckbreaker on Shimbashi. Tag made to Starboy, hitting a double Pele kick. Uranage to both challengers, and a standing Cosmic Swirl for two. Doublestomp to Shimbashi gets two. Orion sneaks in with a superkick, then Shimbashi gets a Pedigree on Titus for two. Corner dropkick misses but a jumping kick from Orion doesn’t. Starguiser hits for a close two count on Titus. Shimbashi heads to the top, and Charlie knocks him off with a Pele leading to Titus getting a German for two. Alexander with a tope con hilo out to the floor on Shimbash, while Charlie hits a shooting star press for the victory. The Crush Boys crush it again as usual. ***½
After the match, Angels causes a distraction so that Aaron Solo can attack from behind. Belt shots to the champs as this likely sets up their next set of opponents.

Main Event: West Coast Pro World Championship – Vinnie Massaro (c) vs. LaBron Kozone
LaBron Kozone was the final ever DPW Champion. Solid headlock takedown by LaBron. Vinnie Massaro escapes and they exchange chops. Kozone with a diving headbutt gets two. Exploder suplex gets two as the champion is in trouble early here. Legsweep and a senton from Kozone, then a Michinoku Driver gets two. LaBron looks for a piledriver but Massaro backdrops out of it, hitting a dropkick to put both guys down. Vinnie gets a corner charge and a chop. Twisting suplex followed by an elbowdrop for two. Saito suplex gets another two. Snoring Elbow is blocked and Kozone gets a stacked powerbomb for two. It’s a chop-off next and they trade some heavy shots knocking both down once again. They duke it out and Kozone gets a big clothesline but can’t hit Ballgame. Snoring Elbow connects, and a pumphandle driver wins it for Vinnie. Another good power match. ***¼
Final Thoughts: Good card here that moved along at a nice pace. The tag title match probably gets my match of the night by a slight margin, but all of the title matches are worth a look, in addition to Starkz vs. Alana.
