Friday night in Alton, Illinois, St. Louis Anarchy saw one of it’s largest crowds at the Spaulding Hall for “Canvas of Dreams II”. The event saw a dream match come true, as Charli Evans faced off against her dream opponent, AEW’s Eddie Kingston.
St. Louis Anarchy’s Matt Jackson took to the official SLA Twitter account, sharing his thoughts on the evening and the 23 year veteran.
2am Tweet. Tonight was magical. Eddie Kingston is independent pro wrestling. He doesn’t have Twitter so he will never see this but that man truly cares about independents like us. It isn’t $$ for him. He wants to give back. Ive known Eddie for 15 plus years. He has always been a unselfish guy. His contract has made him even more unselfish. What a guy.
At the end of last year, Kingston announced that he will no longer work indie wrestling events following November 2026.
Canvas of Dreams II can be streamed on the official SLA YouTube channel for the remainder of the weekend.
