Enjoy Wrestling has announced their closure.
The independent wrestling promotion out of the Pittsburgh area has announced on social media that their final shows will take place on August 30th, September 5th, and October 4th.

Since we began this journey, we’ve also all started families. Our kids are growing older, and our priorities are changing with them. Producing a wrestling show is exhilarating, but the logistics are time-consuming and stressful.
So, we’re pulling the plug while there’s still some money in the bank, before this thing starts feeling less like a hobby and more like a chore. But before we do, we’ve got one hell of a farewell tour.
After one final hoedown at the Hilltop County Fair on August 30th, we’re moving on to our Five Years celebration at Mr. Smalls Theatre on September 5th. Please, if you’re able, join us for one last party at our home base. We’re inviting The Amazing Red, Butcher & The Blade, and all of our friends – it’s going to be a very special evening.
Thanks to anyone who has ever bought a ticket and spent some time with us. We hope that we provided you with a safe space to scream and yell and forget about real life for a couple of hours. We’ve enjoyed our time with you. We’ve certainly enjoyed wrestling.

Enjoy Wrestling was founded in 2020 and featured stars such as Lee Moriarty, Danhausen and Willow Nightingale. GCW promoter/owner Brett Lauderdale commented on the closure.
“This is a tough loss for the scene. Everyone I know that worked for/attended ENJOY spoke very highly of them. Wrestling goes in cycles. Up & down. It’s gonna be a bumpy road for the indies for the forseeable future. Please support your favorites while they weather the storm.”
AIW owner John Thorne also made a statement on the official AIW Twitter account.
“ENJOY Wrestling shutting down in Pittsburgh is another reminder of just how fragile the independent wrestling scene is right now. If and when you can, get out and support an independent wrestling show in your area. Promotions everywhere are facing new obstacles, rising costs, and challenges that make it harder than ever to simply stay above water. Supporting independent wrestling matters now more than ever as there will probably be others who have to make this difficult decision sooner rather than later in the near future. ENJOY made a tremendous impact in a short amount of time and they will be missed by the fans as well as the many performers who have worked there from around the world.”
Enjoy Wrestling has made such a huge impact in such a short amount of time. This is a big loss for independent wrestling.
