Some news and notes leading into tonight's DGUSA Internet PPV in New York City:

The angle where Chuck Taylor stole the DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate last night after failing to win it due to a bad call by the referee continued after he left the venue, as he showed up at last night's CHIKARA event in PA with the belt.

Sabu and BJ Whitmer both received high marks for their work over the weekend by DGUSA management. In Sabu, they feel they have a veteran precense in the locker room. The Extreme Warfare six man tag with Sabu & Jon Davis & AR Fox vs. The D.U.F. will close tonight's NYC iPPV. Whitmer will likely be used going forward, specifically in EVOLVE.

There willbe tickets at the door for Freedom Fight tonight. The addtion of being able to stream the iPPV to mobile streaming devices resulted in increased buys for the promotion over the weekend. They were extremely happy since they finalized that on Friday and didn't have much time to get the word out, yer saw an uptick in buys.

The promotion was also happy that both Philadelphia and Revere, MA were up in attendance.

For those of you ordering the iPPV tonight, the pre-show matches featuring talent from New York Wrestling Connection

will likely air. DGUSA put up the pre-show matches over the weekend.

DGUSA is working on adding another California date for January and another Florida date for Wrestlemania weekend.

The Akira Tozawa opera singing deal last night was plain hysterical.

Among those visiting at the Philly event were the entire CZW roster, UWF's Steve O'Neil and Dee Edwards as well as ROH's Shane Hagadorn.
