Anyone following Ring of Honor Wrestling understands the talent and the depth behind the promotions tag-team division; and better yet the same grouping may find it easy to agree with the following.

Anyone following ROH Wrestling as closely as I have this year is aware of each and every Rookie of Honor climbing the company's historically significant, proverbial talent ladder throughout 2011.

In addition, those who have followed this promotion as closely as I have, understand what the tag-team division means, but most importantly has meant, to the promotion since their inception.

Anyone following Ring of Honor may find it safe to assume, the insignificant (crap-shoot) tag-team divisions that main stream wrestling is notoriously known for; have no relation to the well-established tag-teams Ring of Honor is specifically known for.

Globally renowned partnerships in professional wrestling tend to cultivate from inside of a ROH-ring: The American Wolves, The Briscoe Brothers, Kevin Steen and El Generico, The Kings of Wrestling, Roderick Strong and Austin Aires, Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs, The Young Bucks etc…

My feverish desire to evaluate and study professional wrestling has nothing to do with the following fact:

Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly (Future Shock) are bound to be added to the list above; when and if the right cards fall into the right places; as is the exact formula for success in this business.

Additionally, I would argue for them to be placed along-side all of the above now; however, I know how literal the wrestling community can be.

Therefore, at the very least, within the depths of  my stuffed-imaginarium; they are one of the best tag-teams to ever visibly sell their hearts to this product.

Regardless, you should not need long to decide how far ahead you would like to foreshadow. Obviously I didn’t.

If the following material does not explain a smidgen of their brilliance; do what you can to find the explanation you are looking for. Disappointment is highly improbable.

In-ring fellowships stemming inside of an ROH-ring tend to distinguish themselves as the best the world has to offer. Many different tag-teams who have and are celebrated inside of an ROH ring, have and are being celebrated by those who are outside of one.

When natural, raw talent is the key ingredient behind someone’s ability to push them to another level, on a consistent basis, it appears translucent.

From my vantage point all I can do is appreciate their work.

From m

y vantage point all I can do is respect their work.

From my vantage point all I can do is supply them with support by swelling up my palms on the unforgiving ring-side barricades; as I go horse pelting-out the two most foretelling words that could have possibly been put together.

Future Shock…Future Shock…Future Shock.

The proposed purpose to their name has served itself well in the past, by enhancing any anticipation I may have for future performances; and better yet  by instantly assembling a fan-boy out of me. The type of product they bring to a wrestling-ring means everything to the previous sentence and therefore I have been Future Shocked.

The logic in hyping the talent of Cole and O’Reilly as singles competitors and furthermore as a tag-team, can only go so far.

However, if you would like a taste of how I feel about their existence in professional wrestling and specifically in Ring of Honor, question the following.

I admire their work in the exact same context as I once did for the Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian, and still do, for the Motor City Machine Guns and The Young Bucks. These four teams have all been heavily responsible for ramping up my professional wrestling fever.

If you could have checked my temperature for every Future Shock match I have ever sat through, you would know how deadly accurate I am being.

There is nothing specific about these two athletes that the majority of people need to recognize, in order to capture how talented these two are. Most importantly, there is nothing complicated about how perfect Future Shock is, to Ring of Honor and to all of the fans who can truly distinguish the true factors that turn professional wrestlers into superstars.

Cole and O’Reilly have come into ROH and manufactured their own believers, and now their supporters are the furthest from those that are produced over time.

Instantly upon stepping into an ROH-ring, they proved to be worthy of hanging-out with what a generous portion of the wrestling world consider, the best tag-team division in professional wrestling.

Again, from this vantage point, all one can do is assume ROH Officials were the very first to be Future Shocked.

Cole and O’Reilly are represented by several independent companies, inside and outside of North America, but the pleasure of being Future Shocked has spawned from inside of an ROH event on countless occasions.

The most significant match in the history of this fellowship is set to take place on December 23 at Final Battle 2011. If you have yet to see the skill Cole and O'Reilly consistently showcase; look and plan for the future, and prepare to be shocked.
